LAUREN!!! I know that I’ve left a comment here already, probably a couple years ago! And I am back again, watching your video because it is that awesome!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I just moved five weeks ago, and I am using the master bedroom as my craft room (I have a really bad neck and back so I sleep in my recliner in the living room.) I wasn’t quite sure how I was going to re-organize and do my craft room over again after having it settled for seven years!!?? So I watched your video again to get all the best ideas! I just can’t thank you enough! Someday I’m going to get back into scrapbooking, and when I do, I will be binge watching all of your scrapbooking videos! Thank you so much again, I can only imagine how much time you put into your craft room to get it this organized! It’s a lot of work!! Trust me, I appreciate everything you’ve done! I hope things are going wonderful for you and your family! Lots of love, Liz 😊💗👍🏼🎉

Wow! I mean wow!! My two kids graduated from college and both moved out recently and I have two good sized empty rooms - both have closets with California closet designs - lots of shelves. I am going to make the corner room my craft room. I have an IKEA a few cities over and plan on doing my measurements and taking a drive. You gave me lots of ideas for the different crafting stations I want to make. I am a new subscriber, and plan on watching your other videos to get more ideas. Thank you so much for planning and executing this video!

3 words: Craft Room Envy!!! I **love** the idea of the acrylic frames used as trays! I would have never thought of something like that! My biggest issue is that I really WANT to be so neatly organized, but I can never find the right size boxes, bins, cubes, trays, etc to make everything look "neat". Every once in awhile I'll find the right size box/bin/drawer but there will only be one or two of them, So my craftroom looks like an eclectic nutcase lives there because none of my containers are the same. It drives me nuts!

I love your space and all of your organizational ideas. As a fellow crafter, I know that collecting both your craft items and your organizational ideas happens over many years. You also discover new crafts and organizational items over time. I love when crafters share their craft rooms and ideas. No matter the size of your space, there are wonderful ideas to be gained for everyone! I’m at a reorganizing phase (again!), so I’m going to adopt many of your ideas. I used to be a CM consultant for many years, but discovered card making, and now have many more products! So, I’m working on changing things to accommodate that and other crafts. Your videos are so helpful! Thanks! 🤗

Thanks so much for taking the time to show us your fabulous craft room, I loved it! You have given me plenty to consider for my redo. Your organization skills are top notch, and will probably do the punches like you have, I have way too many of those..I also have put my stamps in the acrylic photo frames, love that idea, which I did see someone do years ago. I do have a wall of cubbies, but not all the way up the wall only half way. I have way too much stuff, I am so afraid the 2nd floor will cave in with all the paper and dies that I have..I will be referring to your video often for advice..thank you so much for doing this, and a thumbs up to your hubby for filming creds..well done..

I appreciate that everything is in drawers but labeled and the color that is displayed is arranged in a way that it’s not chaotic for the eyes. I like a very clean simple craft room design. Thank you for taking the time to show and explain the way you stored each individual item. Storing rubber stamps in clear acrylic picture frames is ingenious. I still prefer and continue to buy the old-style, wood-mounted rubber stamps but need to get creative where storing my growing collection is concerned. Oh how lovely. Such a nice and roomy place to work. I have no set space... a table in the living room under the window, some storage here, there, and everywhere through the house... some in a closet, some in a drawer, some on a shelf, and some a corner. No actual rhyme or reason, just where there is a spot. It's a bit hectic, as you can imagine. My dream is to have a basement that I can set up properly and be able to craft without a treasure hunt each time. LOL

You have a large room dedicated to your hobby. I envy you. The housing price of my city is too expensive for a large room for working. Rooms in town houses and apartments are too mini for workshops. My room is just 100 sq feet, and I have to put my bed inside it! I hate having to pay expensive houses to have enough space for my dream. I start to consider leaving out of cities.

Love this, Lauren! I’ve watched it several times just for the inspiration to get organized! I too have those Mrs. Grossman stickers from back in the day! I can’t get rid of them either 😜 Also loved how you use acrylic frames for your wooden stamps! Great hack!!!

That is quite the Craft Room. So fun to see you’ve held on to a lot of “oldies” but goodies. I see a lot of organization items I can really use. If your hubby was the cameraman he did a fantastic job.. no vertigo lol. I’m going to check out some of your other videos. Thanks for sharing !

I tried explaining how I want my storage to look like and this video has provided the perfect screenshots I can use to describe what I tried explaining. ME: “I’m thinking a WALL of storage. Just small drawers, medium drawers, tiny drawers and drawers and drawers and drawers”. THEM: (show me a picture and of a 5 drawer dresser) “Like this?” ME: “Noooo more! Drawers on drawers layered over each other!!!” No one understands why I’m taking so long “building” my own. I use quotes because I’m not a builder but more of a restorer and use a lot of creativity to make my own. (We don’t have dollar tree or IKEA nor do they ship here, and I don’t have much money anyway so yeah, lots of creativity involved). So I took lots of screenshots and notes.

Oooh thanks again for sharing. Got some more ideas for my future craft room. Glad you showed the Ashland roller carts for the storage boxes. I have been considering one for keeping my pre-scrap sorting bins, but hadn’t seen anyone talk about them. They seem sturdy enough to support a few loaded boxes. Love your ideas and tips. Thanks so much.

Hey! New subscriber here! I am totally in awe of the amazing craft room you’ve created! You certainly have put a lot of time, money and effort into making a space that is conducive to creativity! You are super organized and don’t have to waste time looking for a specific item! I’m in the process of moving into my daughter’s home! I probably have as much crafting supplies as you do! She wants me to pare down my supplies, but it’s difficult! I have rented a small storage space temporarily until I get settled! I have a house filled with my entire life to go through! I will be living in one room that has to serve as my bedroom and craft room! I have to decide what to keep, what to sell, and what to donate! My daughter and granddaughter have to decide what they want! It’s a slow process and I’ll be glad when it’s finished! I have the Iris carts from Joann’s and will put them on top of my wooden cube system! I have a lot of those 4”x6” photo containers from Michael’s - some are loose and some are in the cases that came with 16! I have 4 4-drawer HON file cabinets that hold craft books, 8 1/2x 11 paper, stencils, and lots of other things! I have a board that sits on top which holds smaller drawer systems! My son-in-law gutted the small closet, and 2 - 36” wide shelves fit perfectly opposite each other! They are 6’ tall, 18” deep and hold all my punches! The wall space between the shelves is the perfect size to put one of my bedroom dressers on! It will hold ribbon, fabric, Sizzix dies, and whatever else will fit! I can stack more containers on top! As you can see, I’m trying to utilize every inch of space! I also have an Origami craft cart from HSN that will serve as my die-cutting center! I literally have thousands of wood rubber stamps! Probably a lot of them will go on top of the file cabinets! I have some supplies already at my daughter’s, but none of my furniture or craft storage! The closet has only the 2 shelves and a few containers of punches! I no longer drive, so we only go to my house on weekends when there’s nothing else going on! Like I said, it’s a slow process! lol. Thanks for giving me more ideas on how to create a functional craft space! I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of your fabulous room! Take care! Toni
