i think this video diserves more recognition... this is AWESOME!! i watched it about 5 times and im 15 and i cant wait to get a used newer cr250r and do the same thing here! right now im working on a 1988 cr250 and its gonna be my frst flip. not as good as this one! nice job!

Kid u got urself a real bike there if memory serves me right.. Seems like the ol'85 Honda Red CRs thru '89 felt like meaner than 2000-2004 for ex. I think it's how power placement is delivered? My ol '85 CR250 you couldn't stay on it jump out from under you man.. I bought a new '02 cr250 in late 2001. It was fast but the reeds(powerband)🏍💨 were not as agile as the 85. I'm guessing they were made more rider friendly over the yrs.?? Two stroke is Fun as hell to ride, well for me anyways.. This is just the opinion of an older biker dude & personal experience back in the day. Post pics of ur build EnglishMotoVlogs..🤪👍..

wow you did a great job!!, looks like new!!! those cr are nice bike for that kind of restoration project! i bought a cr250r 2003 2 days ago, and plan on some refreshing it, not as far as you, but a mega cleaning with all parts removed, new tires, new grips, repaint the muffler, cleaning the carb, new gasket on exhaust, oil change, new bearings on direction... maybe i will ask you some advices as soon as i begin to work on it!, i just did a 2 min. ride with it!!, my first ever 2 stroke experience, the sound is totally awesome, and the power is...explosive

I used Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish with a drill/polishing wheel set. I sanded the swingarms with 300, 600 and 1000 grit prior to polishing. Did light sanding for the rest of the frame

CaseyRiDes you can sand it down with fine grit sandpaper, then use aluminum polish to get the shine

+Zummrox nice man glad you like the bike, that 04 is a great chassis one of Honda's best that is why I asked how you liked it. I was debating a 06 yz250 or a 04 honda cr250 like yours, as my next toy. I ride two stroke 500s but want a play bike for cornering and just fooling around.

Yeah i love it! The YZ and CR are both great bikes, really depends what riding style you're after i suppose. Hondas are generally quite reliable so you cant go wrong with a CR!
