It would be even more interesting if you inform the magnification for each frame.

Moore's law never existed in the first place, it was like a guideline for the industry and the density of transistor was always kind of a vague way of defining a CPU actual processing power, now it's more and more unrelated to the real processing power. Plus the density was always an average, some parts are probably at 1nm since quite some time. And the processing power doesn't follow "Moore's law" since quite some time already. Anyway...

Moore's law is dying and was more like long-ish-term observation rather than law. I don't know why people called this law

Imagine that small chip powers a computer with lots of possibilities, *wow*
made a microchip to see how a microchip is made.. "damn! that's some quantum s**t right there man!"
How made the large nnumber of complicated circuits in micro level ?
This is a great video which presents the today possibilities in computertechnology, make them from recycled plastic-fibre, that last one is just a thought, thanks for showing and kind regards.
My stupid CPU is revealing the secrets of it's fellow. 😂😂😂
Hard to believe precision something made but cant be seen, any video of IC manufacturing like wire bonding chip to PCB.
I love how they hide the Easter 🥚s in these chips. I’m starting my own collection high res pics. I’m following.
Nice video, but i think the actual circuits are on the other side of the chip, facing the ceramics. What we can see here are some interconnect layers, that connect the different circuits together and finaly the CPU-core to the pins.

Nice! I think it would look more interesting if you took a look at a more recent processor with such high magnification, this old processor you chose has so few features. Though these new chips have many many layers and need processing before they look really nice.

This chip was designed by Cyrix, the 6x86 (M1), which gave the Pentium strong competition in the mid-90s. It's quite an interesting core.

Why the stupid cropped overlay?
@MicroScopers
10 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! We use a light microscope, a smartphone and an adapter to keep it still. So the video is a black background with a circle in the middle (the actual video). If we zoom in, the video quality reduces . So we use the overlay. Have a nice day!
