I’ve recently noticed that out of all the Backyardigans Tribute Videos we’ve made, some of those BTVs that appear to gain a lot of views in a pretty swift manner are the songs from the show’s first season. Honestly, it’s not very hard to understand why. The first season included a large chunk of the most well-known songs the Backyardigans performed, and when I watched them as a kid, the episodes of season 1 were the episodes I watched the most repeatedly. I’m ultimately deciding, also in honor of the creator of The Backyardigans, the late, great Janice Burgess, several future BTVs will focus on more songs featured in Season 1, arguably considered one of the show’s most beloved seasons, song-wise. I’m starting this Season 1 medley with a wonderful song from the episode “The Key to the Nile”, actually the first song to be performed by all of the Backyardigans, and the resulting video you’re going to watch, I think sums up the song’s message solidly.
