Yea but... Xanax & wine would have the exact _opposite_ effect on a person, especially if they were used to the combination... That comment makes you come off like you're 1 of those _"weed is a plant, it's natural, it's not harmful to your body, _*_unlike_*_ all those crazy chemicals they put in pharmaceutical drugs!"_ people, & yea, to some extent that's true, but if you don't have any kind of tolerance fir fucking *hash oil,* (which I *_hope_* you're aware is almost *nothing* like _smoking_ pot, because if you're leaving this comment, you most certainly _should_ know that) & you take a high dosage of it _(especially_ *unknowingly),* once the effects hit you, your body is going to feel alien to you & your mind is going to recoil in horror, you're going to become *_extremely_** paranoid,* anxiety is going to rip through any semblance of comfort or peace you might hope for, & just like Christina, you *will* have a panic attack (probably several). She doesn't want to get "high" from weed for whatever reason, but is more than willing to ingest a substance that will also get you high, reduces your inhibitions far greater than marijuana, and is far and away more damaging to the body than marijuana is. I just think it's funny that if you're prescribed a drug, the perception of some people is that the feeling they have from the drug isn't being "high", but if it's a recreational drug it is.

@@HamburglarBunz You may be "high" on alprazolam and THC, but people don't use those terms interchangeably with those substances because they're nowhere near the same kind of high. The high from Xanax is closer to being drunk on alcohol while the high from ingesting THC at higher levels is vaguely closer to tripping on acid.

This happened to me once, got waaaaaay too greened out, and I spent probably three hours pacing in a circle in our spare bedroom holding a box of Cheerios convinced I was dying. I don't know why I was holding the Cheerio box, but all I know is that it helped lol

Back in my stoner days my friend group would always consist of atleast a four man squad, if one of us got way to high we each had our rolls and new what to do, One would be the care taker, the other would be the runner “grab whatever the Greened our person needed” and the last one was the guider. His job was to jump in the hole with you, he was usually the most experienced with the substance so he would get as high as you were and walk you out. Good times

I ate waaay to many Weed cookies, one night in the late 80’s. Once they hit, I felt like I was dying for 6-7 hours. The guy who made the cookies spent the party barfing 🤮 in the bathroom. We handed out cookies to the whole party. After about an hour, everyone got pretty quiet. Yeah, I’ve never taken an “edible” again. It was terrifying!

Yep. I have smoked pounds of weed in my lifetime. That includes bud, oil, hash, Moroccan hash, every variety. Edibles are NO JOKE. The metabolization of THC is much stronger and completely unpredictable. My last edible took me from putting away laundry and folding piles of towels to time stopped. No more edibles since then. The only comparable feeling was drinking a full bottle of liquor and taking diazepam.

@@afrocoolio25 I can definitely relate. I hardly do cannabis anymore (only once in a green moon something edible). I've had 2 occasions (the last time I did this a year ago or so and another time 20 years back) where even though I put in a very small amount of Moroccan hash into some cupcake mix and had 2 out of the 10 that I baked, I went from feeling buzzed fairly quickly within 15 - 20 mins to suddenly feeling like "Damn, this is hitting me like it would around the 2-3 hour mark" another 10 -20 mins later, to then as you said above, time 'stopping' and my room looking bigger but then smaller. I was also 'seeing' things in three's, like I'd try to get up but I'd do it in my mind 3 times and then actually move. That shit went on for hours and even with some Valium I had thankfully from ages ago, all it did was take the panic off a bit. The next day I still felt fucked up but not as much. The day after I felt about 90% normal. The day after that. pretty much back to normal. I've had acid before and smoked decent Skunk that didn't fuck me up as much as eating edible MJ has. To think that I would have normally eaten around 3 or 4 cupcakes which used to be my normal amount....just, GAHHHH! o_O

I thought I was having a heart attack and immediately came out my room to my roommate crying thinking I might need to go to the hospital. Thankfully she wasn’t new to it as I was, and managed to keep me calm and soak up the alcohol with some bread and crackers. Felt a little better but was still freaking out. Now if I accidentally to do much I know how to keep myself calm until it passes. But that shit ain’t fun when you’ve never experienced it before!

Mixed about a half ounce of weed that I had baked into one of my mass gainer shakes, drank it all, passed out, ànd woke up with my ears ringing, fully convinced the police were at my door about to break in arrest me. I sat in the hallway on my knees with my hands above my head for what must've been at least 45 minutes before realizing I was just tripping lmao.

Been there and could hear the transformers inside of me. Scariest shit ever.

having low tolerance and jumping in head first is an entirely different animal than consistently going deep. I remember the first 2-5 times smoking, I would take just one puff off of a joint and think I was gonna have a seizure for about an hour.

Really sad to hear how this progressed after Christina just being admitted to rehab for serious opiate addiction. She wore the hoodies to hide track marks. We should have known and done something.

I've had that fractal vision before, and I ended up in the hospital the next day with a heart attack from an ecstasy overdose at 21 years old. Scary shit.

I've had the same thing happen with cbd oil. Getting high when you're not expecting it is scary af

Done it. Took some RSO not expecting anything. Was told it was full spectrum cbd. It absolutely wasn't. I had passed out and two hours later woke up in a fully baked, panicked state full of anxiety. I shouldn't have taken that much but did so thinking 'eh... Just cbd' lol

@@tgbeam haha ya the waking up high af randomly was a rough time for me too 😂

I smoked an entire 8th in like 2 hours one time and had a full blown panic attack. I remember getting up from my computer and walking into the kitchen and suddenly everything felt very strange. I had this immediate urge to run to my bedroom and lay down. I spent the next few hours staring at the ceiling in bed being insanely afraid of nothing while also wanting to kill myself every second that went by. I've never went to that extreme since, but I have had times where I got really stoned and started to have convulsions. It's only happened a few times, but it's really unpleasant.

When Tom starts talking about being so high you get intrusive thoughts, don’t jump off the roof, don’t push the red button... That makes me giggle

I can relate to this so much. I have health anxiety that causes severe panic attacks. I CANNOT smoke weed because of this. If I take any drug (even prescription) that effects my mind or physical sensations in any way, I panic.

Sounds to me like that party was lit!

It’s so awful. Especially if you’re around people that are not cool with you freaking out 😭

I put 1oz of weed in 1 box of brownies Christmas eve. I told my wife all I wanted for Christmas is to do nothing all day. We ate fat boy sized brownies Christmas Eve and she didn’t rise from bed until 5pm Christmas night. I did everything for Christmas and had to tell the family she was sick. She doesn’t eat any edibles anymore

@@KKtheDonahem No, my first time I took just the right amount of hits and although I was very high it wasn't to the point where it wasn't fun. Greening out often happens to first timers because they don't know it can take about 5 minutes to kick in, classic blunder.

Glad I’m not alone.

I am so with these guys on the family coming over...if I could afford it, I would much rather just pay for everyone to go somewhere else...like Hawaii for the holidays than ever bringing everyone to the house again!. I love my family like everyone else...would not be who and where i am without them along the way......just....I never want them to gather here again...lol.
