Man did you LIFT my spirits today. I got so teary eyed, but filled with joy and hope. Me and my best friend of 25 years split up and went separate ways on yesterday. I was feeling mighty mighty low today. 25 years...gone down the drain. We met at university. Both of us Writers. I was sitting here wondering, who am I going to hang out with now? After watching your video, the answer came: I'll tell ya who I'm going to hang out with: Me, Myself, and I. And have a good time: Baking, writing, and going on adventures, until I'm given another pal to hang out with, or the old chum returns. Love you Morgan. You have no idea the joy, peace, comfort, and inspiration you give to me and others. May you bake many many more little childlike cakes with fairy sprinkles. Hugs & Love 💞💙💛💚💖🧡

It's been really really hard for me but I can already see how important this growth is. I've been on a search for these things for a few years now!!! LIFE kept getting in the way until I turned 60 years old!!! Handicaps kept getting in the way. LIFE demands so much of us that there is so little energy to nurture and refresh and restore ourselves. We run with our tanks on Empty and wonder why we are tempted to be jaded, bitter, resentful and full of self pity! Baking is a wonderful start!!! Keep going!!! We are cheering you on Morgan!!! I would like to encourage you to consider rethinking your book buying ban. I think that books are especially refreshing to you. You seem to glow when you are walking down the isles of Powell's enjoying all of the POSSIBILITIES!!! You see, as you age, possibilities become more limited because your body slows down and many other limitations mount upon you. Possibilites are so invigorating and life-giving instead of taking!!! However, if you do decide to give yourself some treats, make sure that they are really LIFE GIVING. Don't go for the introspective, self improvement books!!! Go for the things that LIGHT YOU UP!!! Children's books? Crafting books? Home decor? Famous Artists? Destination locations? Sewing your own clothing? A few journals or commonplace books to keep your thoughts from your Wildflower Summer and everything that you learn about MORGAN!!! Know that you, Landon and Roo remain in my prayers. I relate so much with this! I'm living by myself for the first time in my life at 25 years old. Tomorrow I have the opportunity to play volleyball with some people I know (but not well) and then to volunteer at an event after that. I'm soooo tempted to just stay home and "enjoy my Saturday" even though the last two evenings I've gotten bored. I am determined to have fun with PEOPLE tomorrow no matter the social anxiety! 😄

80,000! I may have felt slightly silly blowing out candles on a video cake, but I did it anyway and it made me smile 😊 So happy to be a part of wildflower summer ❤❤❤

My husband was deployed for 7 months last year and it was extremely difficult. You re-learn to be independent with certain tasks but also learn to love and appreciate the time alone. Being apart is challenging but I can truly say that our relationship became even better when he returned because you learn to appreciate the little things again. It’s okay to not have good days. Proud of you! 🤍🌸

Here's to those of us who blew the candles with you (aka expelled warm breath towards our phone screens! Haha). Your cake did look lovely in the end. Maybe it was warm when you put the icing on the first time and that's why it melted? Also, I'd recommend getting an offset spatula so you can have more freedom of movement for icing your next solo cake, which I hope comes soon! Not as soon as your next video tho! I've been alone for 7 years. I want to come home from work to my wife (girlfriend), wrap my arms around her, kiss her, and tell her that I love her. I dream of the 40's style. OMG, you were playing Maria Callas!!! Autumn is my most favorite season! It has such a special feel to it that I cannot put it into words. And, for over 20 years I have longed to have my own little cozy coffee/tea shop. I love the ambiance!

This beautiful video made me think of one of my favorite Mary Oliver quotes, you might have heard of her :P, which is "Joy is not made to be a crumb" it's part of a short prose poem but ohh, so so true! “If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don’t hesitate. Give in to it. There are plenty of lives and whole towns destroyed or about to be. We are not wise, and not very often kind. And much can never be redeemed. Still, life has some possibility left. Perhaps this is its way of fighting back, that sometimes something happens better than all the riches or power in the world. It could be anything, but very likely you notice it in the instant when love begins. Anyway, that’s often the case. Anyway, whatever it is, don’t be afraid of its plenty. Hello everyone, I’m a new subscriber (been watching for a couple of weeks). I’ve been finding so much comfort from all your videos, Morgan. I am slowly making my way through them all (minus vlogmas which I will watch in December). I’ve been having a challenging time with my health (mentally and physically) this year and your videos have provided comfort, light and happiness when I’ve most needed it. Thank you. I love this cake. It looks amazing. I hope it brought you many days of joy. Here’s to your Wildflower Summer 🦋. I hope it is enlightening, joyful and empowering. I needed this reminder to step out of your comfort zone. I often think I am very happy in my comfort zone but in truth, 7 out of 10 times I am lonely and need to reach out to friends and family. Sometimes I know what I love doing by myself and other times I forget or want to do something with someone but fear they won’t want to do it. However I have to keep reminding myself to keep trying. To keep finding my joy. My wish for everyone is to be happy, kind and always seeking knowledge and joy. I hope that anyone reading this manages to find joy and knowledge in their everyday life. Hi beloved Morgan I was thinking about u today I haven't seen you post in a minute so I wanted to pop on and say I love your videos I love your positivity but also your transparency. I am also on a journey similar to you not depending on anyone which I have always been dependent on people. But now I have to do it with a toddler and without a driver's licence so that's a challenge but thankfully I live in NYC so it's not impossible. Your journey has been a big inspiration to me. Hey Morgan, I hope you’re doing okay. I know how hard it can be to be alone. A few years ago, my now husband and I had to spend most of the year apart from each other, and I lived in a remote area away from friends and family. That summer, someone I love got very sick which left me feeling so very lonely and helpless. That was a rough year. It was really hard to stay positive, but things got better. Something that helped me was realizing that we go through seasons of life, and that the loneliness, though awful feeling, wasn’t permanent. Wow. When I was reading what you wrote it sounds exactly like my life too. I too am retired and end up doing so much for family members there isn’t much time for myself. I’m too tired to do something for myself. I decided that tomorrow I am spending the whole day doing what I enjoy. I’m turning off my phone and having a day just for myself. I think we need to do that sometimes to get our energy back and remember that it’s okay to focus on ourselves.

It's been so long that I've thought about myself, I'm not even sure what brings me joy. It's time I find out, and start taking care of me! Good luck to all on your journey! Happy 80,000 subscribers! I'm a new subscriber and I found your channel at *just the right time* in my life! Thank you for making such comforting, cozy, heart warming videos!

It is so beautiful that I can go to my hiding place and enjoying my peaceful. I feel alone sometimes, but no one understands me very well. I love drawings, doodle, and enjoying nature. I'm sad all the time and I really don't understand why. I like the way you do, some people don't appreciate me some do but nice video.

What I think it's one of the great qualities of your channel is that you don't put a burden on your subscribers. What I see most these days is creators complaining about the subscribers not watching the videos or doing something to blow up their content, and they don't do it in a bad intention, but I feel that it becomes much more of a obligation than a pleasure. And in you Morgan, my friend, I feel so much joy and happiness to come here and watch another video of yours, you celebrate us and we certainly celebrate YOU! Such a joy affirming video. I too made a bit of a "2nd Grader Aesthetic" dessert, a strawberry rhubarb pie with a solstice sun decoration on the top. It was definitely a bit wonky, but so delicious, and made up of sunshine from my homegrown fruit.

Dear Morgan, my last days weren‘t so great. I didn‘t catch much sleep and had a phase where I was overthinking so much about everything. All of that made me sick to my stomach. Loved this, it was so fun. For the cake, you can slice it and freeze the individual slices so that it doesn’t go bad before you can eat it 😁 Just pull out a piece in the morning and it should thaw in about 30 minutes, or you can hurry it along by microwaving it for 20 seconds or so.
