Ford 5.0L Coyote Engine
The Coyote is a 5.0 liter, naturally aspirated V8 engine from Ford Motor used to power sports cars like the Ford Mustang and pickup trucks like the Ford F-150. Featuring a dual overhead cam (DOHC) design, in a V configuration, the Ford Coyote architecture has been part of the Ford Modular family since 2011. The engine has seen some revisions since then, the most recent being in 2018.
This engine was first engineered for the Mustang GT so it could compete with the GM 6.2L LS3 engine used in the Chevrolet Camaro at the time. The Coyote had to remain the same size as the outgoing 4.6-liter V8. It was also Ford’s first implementation of its Twin independent Variable Cam Timing (Ti-VCT) technology on a V8 engine, a feature which considerably improves fuel economy and power delivery all while reducing emissions.
About Ridetech
Ridetech started in 1996 with a vision of building a better lowered car. Using air suspension to accomplish the task, our reputation as innovators, problem solvers, and just good folks to deal with, helped us grow quickly.
It was just what we do - we Hot Rod. To us, Hot Rodding means you can always do better and “no” is never an acceptable answer.
Can we make a vintage car drive, handle and perform as well as a modern super car - YES!
Can we make a truck ride as good as your family sedan (even with massive changes in load) - YES!
Can we take a car built to handle on rails and provide a smooth compliment ride - YES!
Being a Hot Rodder is more than parts and problem solving, if you are one too, then you already know what we mean. It is a lifestyle and a passion, and it is built on sharing with friends. Being a Hot Rodder means you never enter any town as a stranger, you always have fellow enthusiast to sit down with and feel at home. This is why we spend so much of our time and resources on attending events, we want to meet you and hear about your story - even if you aren’t a customer, even if you buy someone else’s product…
Our approach to problem solving, “can-do” perspective and relationship driven business tactics have provided openings into many areas of business including agriculture, commercial transport and defense projects as well… but at the core, we remain true to who we are - we are Hot Rodders.

My '63 Country Sedan is rust-free black with a red interior. As far as I can find, there are no options that this car doesn't have. 390-4V, Cruis-o-matic 3-speed, roof rack, power tailgate window, factory under-dash A/C, power steering, power (drum) brakes, full carpet, deluxe wheel covers on whitewalls, etc. Was assembled very late in the '63 year, and the factory actually put 1963 427 C3AE-G heads on this 390. (Nothing trick, just larger valves and such). Anyway, no plans for "upgrades", as this cherry is too original to mess with. Lucky rocks!

These classic Wagons are getting popular, I'm seeing more and more of them back on the road. Just a suggestion for your next project, do a mid-late 70's Muscle Car, like a 3rd Gen Malibu/ 4th gene Nova, 6th gen T-bird/3rd Gen Cougar, Plymouth Volare/Dodge Aspen, they are getting REALLY popular because they are cheap. You should show people that these cars can be cool and cheap to build.

That is what it is. The Coyote is like a baby 427 FE. A very nice engine for boost. The 352 would have been 250 hp and 327 lbs ft. The FI Coyote will make the same power with 2x the mileage. The OD is going to be great!

Lucky Fellow you tuber SleeperDude has found out that floors from a coupe will work in the wagons. He says that they will be a little bit short for the rear seat but everything else seems to be ok. A Thunder Bolt hood scoop would IMO look Bitchin on this. Also I don't think that single pot master cyl. is gonna be anywhere near enough to stop this car. This car for sure needs some long boards either on a roof rack or sticking out the rear window and cruising up and down PCH in Huntington Beach like my friends and I did what seems like a life time ago. 6=8.

Which rust convertor is the go-to if you need to go that route? I used some years ago that worked really well. I can't find it anymore, most likely because of the chemicals in the old mix?

I seen you and the car in Nashville at the Power Tour. I was wondering what that tank came from. What year mustang is that tank for? I have a 74 Gran Torino wagon, and I was thinking of doing the same thing with it and getting rid of the stock tank in the fender well.
