Joe you could easily be a professor of Mechanical engneering at Oxford
Looks like fun haha. I didn't realize T34s were so advanced!
Might start reversing my t34-85 everywhere in warthunder, bet the fuel pump can absorb a few rounds
Found that interesting, such a simple design but serves it's purpose.
great simple explanations, love these vids keep up good work lads
Bruh what I just found this channel and its a hidden gem keep going !!

Keep going? Did he give you the impression he was packing it in🙄
You certainly covered everything in that vlog Joe!
Here from WD!
That pump looks exactly like the one on my T-55 engine. I've got some videos on my channel. I've got two engines and the spare pump is currently off getting a truck style regulator to stop it pulsing in my lighter vehicle :)

I've had the regulator apart as well to try and modify it to my needs without too much success.

It is pretty much the same pump that’s why, il take a look at your videos
Mate I just found this channel, awesome stuff well done keep it up. 👍
Imagine working on these things while the Germans were shelling you in stalingrad.(at the tractor factory)
Keep the wicked videos coming mate love watching
Keeping in mind the rush to build these tanks, i wonder if this (type) injection pump was previously used in other applications? Farm or transport...
Vidéo très intéressante et instructive, thanks ! 👍
All them quid signs flying out of them injectors....lol
Well done Joe, few people who know anything about engines would tackle an injection pump. The diesel will wash off in the shower, your bathroom may costs a fortune to clean, but you've saved a fortune. Diesel takes a lot of igniting, much more than a match, or lighter. Well done, I want to see it running an engine now. 👏👍👏👍👏👍👏
Said it before, great education and a good laugh!. 🤣
You do explain things well. Greetings from across the Pond!
amazing job.
great commentary there there Joe ... its EXACTLY what we want /need to hear for all us NO tank mechanics KEEP IT UP !! A recommendation for MR cameraman ...... nice work there fella but ease up on the old zoom ...all the bobbing about starts to make you feel a bit sicky try using some kind of stabiliser .. just an idear

It's more of an autofocus problem. I think they need to learn how to use manual focussing to keep the focus on the subject and not random things that pop into frame.
YOUR NOW GOING TOO WALK ABOUT ALL DAY WHITH A FIRE EXTINGUISHER I HOPE BLOODY GOOD JOB .😊
Nice work and a brilliant soundtrack1
My summer tank
Awesome channel
no idea what i'm looking at but i'm a fan
Proper fucking mechanics. I know why you zoomed in on that feed fitting xD I SEE ALL THE ADAPTERS hahaha Great work lads
Fuel delivery amount is controlled by the scroll on the fuel pump plunger(s), as the scroll opens or is turned then more fuel is admitted , pressurised and passes to the injector.
Brilliant videos. Put your phone on silent :-)
Good videos! maybe use the zoom a bit less and get a tripod, the camera shake was spoiling good content.
Is that an engineer's claw hammer?
little switch on the side of your phone, means we don't have to listen to your notification noise 10000000000 times
Buy some lighting
Did it fix it ? Did it fire up ??
Don't worry about the smell of diesel, I've come across loads of women who love the smell of petro chemicals. including a couple of doctors.
I'm interested to know if the tank is metric or imperial?
Nice videos, but we need some more petrol engined tanks 😅

Tank makers didn't really like these i think, because they lit on fire. (This one is a diesel with that being one of the reasons)
I wonder if some former Red Army VM was watching this with a knowing grin on his face. In a Russian accent while drinking ice cold VODKA. "Wait till the decadent Englander pig, tries to refit the accelerator shaft return springs. He will learn that in the Rodina you don't fix an engine, it fixes YOU!"
Pure engineering porn ! Thanks Bruva loved it and very educational
next video please!
Genuine question: could the same results be achieved with water rather than diesel? Cheaper, if nothing else.

The diesel lubricates the pump at the same time, water doesn’t work so well
Not frightened of getting oil and sirt on your skin. Rubber gloves free zone
Does he get a backhander for promoting WD40?
So is T34 engine Soviet designed or copied from another engine?
@Archlegan
9 ай бұрын
Soviet designed, with help... The engine was originally designed before WW2 by Hispano-Suiza for zeppelins (why it's an aluminum casting)..the French sent the design to the Soviets, which they adapted and modified. The Soviets always claimed it was their original design. Never quite stepped out of the V-2s shadow either, with upgrades and modifications to work all the way up to the T72. I've heard that the V-2 took "inspiration" from captured German tanks with the v12 Maybach engines as well, but is less substantiated/documented.
Love the content.... turn your phone off. The interference is distracting.
Joe, that music was free? Cause it doesnt fit the job at all :D you need some punk or rock for this.

Sorry but that music was putting me off our channel
I feel dirty just watching this, I bet the oily film on everything hangs around for months! You look like you stink! 😂 I'm enjoying this series though, but like others have commented, I could do without the music and the phone chirping (minor gripes though) Cheers 🍻
Your mad
Less crap music and dodgy camera work and more actual mechanical stuff please.

Need to lose the music; doesn’t relate to the topic in any way - completely wrong. Can’t ignore how bad it is.
