Great reaction, and thanks for the shout-out. I chose to remix this particular song because it has in some ways a similar storyline to Courtney's life. The original song is from the movie "Wild Rose". The premise of the story is of a girl from the UK who wants to be a famous singer and travels to the States (Nashville) to persue her dream. She ultimately realizes everything she left behind at home in Glasgow including two chilren was more important to her than her own dream. So the lyrics in the song are references to the "Wizard of Oz" where Dorothy ultimately realizes that everything that had real true meaning to her life was back home, hence "There's no place like home". I chose to remix this in a soulful/gospel style. I believe Courtney, even though she can sing any style, is a true Soul R&B singer.

Hey Mudd. So glad to have you back for a Courtney reaction. A great reaction as always. You hit the nail right on the head with your comments. Courtney has both the most unique and most exquisite voice many of us have ever heard. Add to that, the tremendous vocal control and versatility she has and it doesn't really matter what kind of song she sings, she is just going to kill it. She slows this song down and turns it into the most beautiful of ballads, while at the same time, throwing in some of the signature Courtney grit. There is just no one like her. You are so correct. When her album drops, it will just be epic and when she starts touring, imagine how insane her concerts will be as Courtney and the audience feed off of each other's energy. It will build to a crescendo until they just blow the roof off of the building. As we move into the Christmas season, there is a major song of Courtney's that you have yet to react to. The original singer is a lay named Jessie Buckley. She is relatively unknown, but Courtney looks at the quality of the song. She loved this song as do I.

This is not much help, Jack, but all indications are 2022--it needs to come out soon! I don't think even Courtney or or her handlers know. I suspect it will it only happen when she knows she can start performing live soon afterwards and that depends a lot on the pandemic.

Just a little update there I'll check that Courtney's KZread station and this morning there was a video of her and Howie Mandel on Howie's show he did about a 20 minute interview with Courtney I won't tell you everything I heard cuz you might want to watch it yourself but she has signed with a new label and she was leaving California and heading to Pittsburgh and she wouldn't quite explain everything so I guess it's a hush hush right now but if you get a chance what's the interview pretty interesting and she is got to be one of the most beautiful young ladies around at 17 she's amazing thanks a lot man
