Everything Courtney sings is beyond amazing, but many of us believe that this rendition of 'Love Hurts' is among Courtney's most spectacular pieces of music. The funny thing about it, is that we basically heard this masterpiece by accident. We were on a live chat with Courtney and a number of people were asking Courtney to sing 'Love Hurts'. It was then that Courtney said she had already recorded it and she went to her laptop to see if she could find it. Lucky for us she did, because the world needed to hear this. When Courtney played it, there was almost stunned silence because we were shocked at the absolutely exquisite performance we were hearing. There were a bunch of OMGs along with universal requests for Courtney to play the song again, which she did. It's hard to describe how good this is. Remember that this is being broadcast off a file saved on a laptop, transmitted over a cell phone via a live chat and then recorded again on the receiving end by another cell phone and it is this unbelievably beautiful. Can you even imagine what the digital studio version of this sounds like. I'm not sure there would be words to describe it. This performance has been universally proclaimed and many have hoped that Courtney would release this, and it may happen eventually, but her main focus now is on her original music. Courtney was on a live chat not to long ago from a practice studio working on her new music and she sang the first verse of 'Love Hurts' live. Talk about being the stuff of dreams. It was everything it was imagined it would be and more. Courtney is truly the voice of a lifetime. The original of this version of 'Love Hurts' is by Linda Karlsson (Miss Li), a Swedish singer who Courtney worked with shortly after AGT. It was a hit in Sweden and some surrounding countries but less known more broadly. It is often confused with a song by 'Nazareth' and others, but it is completely unrelated to those songs of the same name. You mention how accessible Courtney is to her fans and it is true, no one does more and tries harder to stay connected to her fans and also involve them in many of the behind the scenes parts of her life. There have been multiple weeks where she has done lives every day. Just this morning she was on a TikTok live and took us all to brunch with her and her dad to a Mexican restaurant and then sang, joked and laughed with us during her trip to a vocal session she was going to have with her vocal coach Julie Miles. Courtney is probably the best singer performer entertainer at her age I've seen and heard, or at least right up there with the best of them. And I'm including Elvis, young MJ, and maybe a few others who were at her age then. It's not fair to compare any of them as they were or are all unique individuals who have brought something new to the table of entertainment. She's been quiet lately and she's been giving us little tidbits on her SS media accounts that something is brewing and she said hopefully will be doing a few performances in her area to feel the waters and see the responses. That's academic to me as we know everyone is waiting patiently for her release. It's probable more for her to get familiar again with being on stage in front of an audience, as it's been close to 3 years since. In the meantime, I'm hoping to persuade you to another reaction to one of Courtney's 1st well known rock performances that most of us would love to see your reaction to when she was just 12 years old. That was Miss little from Sweden that was her version of it and and Courtney went to miss Lil's studio in Sweden and did this version of it which is not far from miss Mills excuse the typing there's voice texting for the crap but anyway she went there and did this song at that studio they did four takes from what I understand and this was the first take and they couldn't get any better they said there's another song no place like home which is a well-known song and she seen this song in the movie and said if she ever got famous she wanted to do it find no place like home the remix it's pretty interesting thanks man take care love to Courtney stuff love all your reactions later

Hello Mr Orr, I'm glad that you are wanting to listen more to the fantastically talented Courtney Hadwin. She has sung close to 50, if not more covers and originals. Like most of the world, it was her time on AGT that put me on to her. Since that season, I've become a huge fan of hers. I've been trying to watch as many of hers as possible. I've been loving her newer works, and I'm also a fan of her earlier works too. One of my favourites was from a series called TeenStar, which I believe that she was 10-12 at the time. Dave, since the new restructuring last July between Simon and Sony who really knows what happened to the contracts between all Simon's sign artists and their initial contracts with him. In all the articles I've found on that deal, there's no real determination on what has happened to those original contracts with Simon. Sony has taken over all the artists but they have also said they will honor anyone wanting to back out of that original contract which supposedly a few have. And it's been said that other artists have been dropped by Sony. But I haven't found anything to show for sure yet if that's true. And their are others who claim Courtney is no longer on Sony's list of current artists. I looked and couldn't find her there either. Do you know anything to the contrary about who she is signed with today?

@@tv2lights245 I meant to get back to this reply by you. Can you post a link to where you read about this. I've been looking for something on what happened to to all the signed artist by Simon when the deal went through, especially about Courtney Hadwin, but still haven't found any credible article yet. I've read posts by some fans who say they knew, but no one is able to post anything others can read about it. Mostly just something they've read from a few fans who claim they know but have yet to show how. Just words. I could name the one, maybe 2fans who upload videos to youtube and have been spreading false opinions without facts but I won't. Hopefully that's not where you found this info from. I always look for real sources, not from he said, she said stuff. I am very interested if you have a link to some article. Even some of those I've read are just opinions or similar to a blog.

Btw, the one credible article I've read who has left Simons original contract is one of the members of One Direction. I would have to go back and search for that again to name him. But he said they agreed to part ways, at the time of the the Sony/Cowell deal. And supposedly a few other may have too. I could give out other facts that are kinda circumstantial and may say Courtney is no longer under her original contract, but it's not really proof. And I'd rather not say.
