What I find fascinating is that some of these interviews are PAINFUL because the actors are so shallow and lacking the basic conversation skills required to have substantive interaction. And then you have these two. The interview is longer, they are both active listeners, they ask introspective questions, they relate with each other, and it comes out in the interview. 10/10.

Are you referring to the Actors on Actors series or do you mean in other interviews? Because I haven't yet seen any Actors on Actors videos that were "painful", though these two are pretty awesome together

I saw Courtney and Angela at the Guthrie on the first night of previews. I can't believe he was unprepared! They were brilliant and very personal at the meet and greet afterwards. I brought them a gift and Angela sent me a handwritten thank you card. I was floored! I saw her again a couple years later and reminded her of the mug I gave her, she remembered and said she uses it everyday. Love her! This interview is amazing!

But she's not pretty at all. Aisha Tyler is noticeably better looking than Tracee who is all black. And it takes both black and white to make that skin, if it weren't for black skin she wouldn't even have that skin, and if it weren't for white skin she wouldn't have it either. Tracee is not attractive at all. And I don't like her ways, she seem to have secret evilness about her expressed in an indirect way.

Ms Ross don't let that town change you like saying fix your nose, fix your hair, fix your skin, fix your weight, just stay your self, that is why we love watching you. Always love your mother. When will MS DIANA ROSS HAVE A MOVIE MADE ABOUT LIFE, I KNOW SOMEONE THAT COULD PLAY HER AS A TEEN.

Thank you Tracee Ellis Ross and Courtney Vance for bringing sincerity and light into a topic that is usually full of gossip and innuendos. Under President Obama's leadership I experienced an all around better quality of life because people practice an attitude hope and believed that "yes we can" While this message started with the Obamas; I feel in many ways it continues to exist. Since 45 has to divide his time playing president I believe we can #MakeMediaGreatAgain. The devil can't be in two places at the same time...Just Saying

I've heard of some actors that lived there for a short time and then moved elsewhere. Ethan Hawke is a good example, he's lived in NYC for years and years but still worked consistently as a film actor. He had to physically go there to get his break though, plus working with his agent to show the scripts and type of work he wanted to go for.

Black-ish or Girlfriends are not dramatic works of art. She never did anything to be considered a great actor. Why do they keep pushing her on us why. She is not the face of black people, she have a white father and a I love white people mother. She keep talking about black issues she do not know our culture. The name Blackish is offensive.

  • @sarai373

I don't hate her and I understand your point. She cut him off when he was making his point about what older black folks felt when Martin Luther King and Malcolm X were executed. She started to make a point about women and it irked me. But I do understand that Tracee as lovable as she is probably does not understand fully the true struggle of black people. (I don't know her and I could be wrong). She does know her struggle as a privileged mixed race child of Diana Ross which I won't trivialize at all but I feel as much as all struggles are important whether mixed or not Tracee needs to go deeper so that when other people are sharing she should try to relate/respect and not did what she did here even though it was part of history. In short I wanted him to finish a lot of some of his sentences which she didn't allow at times. The comedic spin on the series Black-ish probably helps to make some people feel comfortable about serious topic/s and issues that are still so glaring today. SMH.
