Regarding TV specials, I feel like it's really dropped off in America in the last 20 years. Growing up in the 80's/90's, it wasn't just "Grey's Anatomy, featuring a guy who looks like Santa having a colonoscopy!" To this day, one of my favorite Christmas things is the Garfield Christmas special. Magical. I hope you both had a wonderful Christmas!

@@johnzubil2875 Father Christmas by The Kinks, Driving Home For Christmas by Chris Rea, It's Gonna Be A Cold Cold Christmas Without You by Dana, Last Christmas by Wham, Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin Stevens, and many more. You do realize that not all classic American Christmas songs are played in other countries, right? Just because a classic British song isn't played in America doesn't mean it's not a classic. The UK has just as many if not more classics as America.

I’ve been to a friend’s house for thanksgiving (twice, many years ago), who makes a “Tur-duck-en” every year. A chicken, inside a duck, inside a turkey; with stuffings in between. He even goes so far as to debone each bird by hand and stuff them all together reshaping them. It makes for what looks like a roasted turkey, that you can cut all the way through at any point, and have all three birds with different stuffings and no bones. It’s the most extreme thanksgiving bird(s) I’ve ever seen as an American lol. I was blown away, and would’ve been even more so if I liked duck lol. For Christmas in America there’s many thing you’ll see, depending on the family and region (separately lol); I’ve personally seen turkey, ham, tamales, various roasted beef cuts, and even homemade lasagna, as the Christmas dinner main course. My holiday experience has mostly been around the west coast areas.

This year I was unfortunately in the hospital right up until Christmas Day and was limited on what I was allowed to eat so our family did Christmas Tacos this year because it had some soft options I could work with. It was different but lovely and we all enjoyed having something out of the ordinary for a Christmas dinner.

Lawrence is just wrong about the weather one. In the US we have a wide variety of weather and you have the option of vacationing or seeing family in other parts of the country sometimes. In the UK, there's a lot of consistency in weather and you have what you have. Of course, I admit the US winters can be brutal in some places at some times (like Buffalo last Christmas) but this isn't typical. Usually the most brutal stuff hits in January or later.

You guys watched 3 of their big videos, but I think you missed 3 that are huge, and based off of Ash's love for Tati, I would recommend "Who is gonna be the One", "Pit of Conciousness", and last but not least "Call me a Symbol". Thats definitely the heaviest. If you react to these, I literally can't wait. Thanks for making smile watching your reactions!

Depends on your age i.e. generation...as far as music goes. Prime rib or ham is the usual in my area for dinner turkey is most popular for Thanksgiving (due to tradition.) it may depend on your family's heritage for what you eat. As for movies the cartoons or clay action were the best...I might be aging myself! lol Merry Christmas!

Eskimos or Inuits have loads of words for snow If the snow is dry. It will be powdery It can also be icy (sleet) It can also be wet. Moisture content will vary. And also what can be done in it Powdery is awful for snowmen Powdery is awesome for snow angels. Powdery good for skiing sledding or tubing Wet is only good for snow forts and snow ball fights. Wet is good

Turkey is a low fat meat, so it you want the breast to be moist and flavorful you must cook it at low temperature for a long time. If you cook it fast, it will be dry. America is a vast country so there are a lot of choices in weather. so I disagree with Lawrence when it comes to weather and also food. Yes, we do not always have turkey for Christmas as it is tradition for thanksgiving just one month earlier. By Christmas we have had turkey, turkey sandwiches, turkey soup and so forth so we may choose some other meat. Maybe a Christmas goose and a roast beef.
