County line Mini manure spreader
Thank you for choosing to watch our channel and the progress we have made so far on our 52 acre farm. We enjoy making upgrades to the property whether it’s access roads, or installing large and small, barns, equipment, storage buildings, running heavy equipment, and giving a home to a miniature pony and miniature donkey. Hey Tom, it spreads nice and even and looks well built. I think you'll have this spreader a long time. I wonder if there is anything you can do for corrosion other than rinsing it off if you're using fertilizer. Probably keeping it clean would be the best for any equipment. Yes, I agree. I thought it was built well myself just the metal and paint preparation probably wasn’t done very well from the factory but I’ll keep it inside and out of the weather. Good winter project, throwing some new paint on it 👍

Yeah for the price it’s not too bad considering every other company wants several thousand dollars for a mini spreader
Love the video, if you need a small ground driven model, we make 25 cu ft and 50 cu ft manure spreaders as well. Have a great day

Does this have to be old manure from a pile or can you use fresh mucked

It works better if it sits for a few days, but we have also scooped immediately and didn’t seem to bad ! Hope that answers your question
Do you think this would spread top soil im wanting to top dress my lawn and those top dress machines are about 4000 dollars

I do think it would spread it nicely if it’s not too big of an area it depends on the consistency of the topsoil. If it’s really processed, topsoil could fall through pretty quickly unfortunately on that model, there’s no way to regulate or restrict the amount of flow going through the grinder.
