Keeping up with 2 horses that produce 24 poo piles daily… Ya need a method to transport to the compost pile.

I wonder if adding something going down and under like a pair of forks might make it last longer. A pile of wet shavings might just be enough to bend the sheet metal of that trough pretty well. Supporting the bottom of the trough might support the load better than attaching to the side

Don’t think that would work for dumping purposes…. If you go to dump, you’d lose the whole thing. I’ve been using both buckets for a week now and the whole setup is VERY strong. Pressing the 1/4” steel bars on the inside really make the bucket solid. Very pleased with it right now. Some slight mods: drilled 3 holes on bottom toward back to allow for extra drainage. Poo back board works perfect. Added Two PVC elbows and pipe across the top to keep the plastic wrap taught. Other than that, if she doesnt rust out or something in short order, life is GOOD!

@@LCDRmikecorrigangood that it's holding up, but I think you slightly misunderstood me, I meant in addition to what you had now

@@fr8train96 ah… now I see what you mean. On the old wood bucket, I bolted two 4x4’s to act like skids and give the bottom strength. I have that idea as a mod if it becomes necessary, but honestly… It’s pretty solid right now as is. The only issue I hit so far is when they are empty, winds hit the poo deflector and flip them on their back. Maybe skids would stop that…but then I’d have to take an even amount off the front to be able to dump the wheelbarrows into them. Might weaken the frame too hacking through the top rim. It’s all a trade-off.
