Countersink Drill Bit / DIY / Woodworking Tools
I make a very useful tool in this video. We all use Countersink Drill Bit. It is possible to buy for cheap, but can not we do it ourselves? I wanted to try it and decided to do it. For 4mm drill bit, I started by cutting a 12mm bolt. Then I used a file and gave it the shape I wanted. In the end, something good appeared. I even did the second one, I made for a 3mm drill bit from an 8mm steel bar.
If you want the screw heads to fit properly, you should drill a pilot hole with a Countersink Drill Bit. Whether you buy it or do it yourself, use Countersink Drill Bit. If you want to make it yourself, just watch this video.

( very good friend, the only problem is that over time it will lose its sharpness, so a great tip to give you is to temper the piece and then sharpen it, this way it will last for a long time, but a great way to get an accessory that is often difficult to find in some cities. Big hug and congratulations. )
Perfekto.. Super

I've made taps in a similar way for taping wood. . Out of grade 8 or better bolts. The thing about making you own tap u get a much tighter thread fit to the bolt you screw into the wood. Regular taps are larger in order to spin the nut on n taps cut the threads over size. Another plus a grade 8 bolt cost 15 -25 cents. So it's up to you your sweat or $$. How I do it? I grind taper...start up the thread end ... from no thread to a full thread about 4-5 threads up. Then I clamp bolt in vice position bolt where the first thread apears on the taper top side. ... then with a hack saw I cut from just little right center to just a little left center up though first 3-4 threads...i usually tip my hack saw blade 10-15 to the right u don't want a 90 degree cut this is called a rake. Take a file n file flat the area to the right of the hack saw cut. 5-10 minuets you have a tap. These taps will cut soft metal also.
If possible, you can use grap screws instead of normal screws. I couldn't use it because I didn't have it. Thank you to friends who reminded me.
Very good job accuracy work very good video thanks for this video

👍🏼really a nice JIG. But with the screw I would have taken a grub screw.😀 BR LG Helmut (BeimBastler)
could i steal ur idea..?😁👌

Is the cut off bolt 62 mm in length not 26 as stated because you cant drill a 30 mm hole from 26 lol
Really good idea, but would be better if you could replace that "head screw" with a grub screw instead. Thanks.
More work than I want to do but enjoy the idea.
Thank you.

Well done !!...Excellent !!
👏
Kreatif sih..cuma repot amat buatnya, disini tinggal beli cuma 30 rb rupiah dapat 5 pc ukuran
👍👍👍

This cost 1$ in alixpress
Good idea but very DANGEROUS!!! Need to use SET SCREWS instead of screws
What a complete waste of time when you can buy them for a little of nothing
