The galactic marines could be renamed to “Galactic trooper” or something (simply cut off the “Marine”). OR they could just call them “21th Nova Corps” (They are from that “Legion” so it’d make sense)

Seriously, I like that they are doing so many Prequel Sets but they should consider to make some Seperatists sets instead of mostly Republic sets. It’s kind of a luxury problem now but I have more clones than droids lol. Back in 2014, I just had like 7 clones and 20 droids.

And those that do completely get it, and if ya end up feeling embarrassed just say " look if I ever decide to sell this stuff I'm gonna make money hand over fist." People don't gotta be judgey about it, it's their problem.

The reason given for cancellation of the Osprey was that even though Lego made a theoretical rescue version, the only current operator of the Osprey is the U.S military and Lego don't make currently active military equipment.

@@albusnightspring8057 the UTAT is a pretty neat tank, but it'd be very difficult to make a 40 dollar set with the quality it'd need to not be unrecognizable, I'd say what you'd want is something like the speeder pirate tank, or maybe the naboo speeder that takes the the AAT when they assault the queens palace in episode 1

I feel Lego Teens pain. Way back in middle school I had told my friends I was planning on asking for a Lego SW set for Christmas and they laughed at me. From that point on, all through the rest of middle and High School, i Kept quite and was ashamed of my like for Lego. It wasn't until college that I really started coming out of my shell and even started posting pics of my military MOCs. Thankfully, everybody in my social circle has been very supportive :) I hope the same for Lego teen.

Man; one of your best videos to date: 1. Galaxy explorer in background. ( respect for the older viewers) 2. Equitable Market Hypothesis ( business level theory in your video! Wow 3. Cracks / jokes, on the buildable figures - (funny bit with vid clips to back up your thoughts) 4. Answering spot on Lego mini fig black market. ( When I went to Europe this summer, I met a collector who had connection with factory workers , who yes, You said it, are moving product sideways. ( There’s no bootleg mnfctr for those mini figs. Just rogue employees in low paying factories). Most likely a problem that LEGO is aware of, but isn’t causing them to loose hundreds of thousands of dollars......so they don’t even go after it. 5. You mentioned ATL BRICK CO ....went there had a blast selling my 99 sealed collection of OG sets to Chris and company. Ask MandR: So, Lego changed the Battle Droid blaster color from black to like a shiny gun metal color. It first appeared in the 2020 AAT and the odd thing is that they have been keeping it pretty consistent since then. Except for in the 501st battle pack, the Battle Droids now wield dark shiny blasters. Long story short; Lego never makes changes like this, as it is usually one size, piece, or color fits all kinda thing. Why do you think change happened? Kinda random, but I am curious.

Star Wars figure pieces have been making their way out of factory a long time. I remember 10+ years back when tons of Zam Wesell and Tusken Raider head/torso combos hit the market. You can still buy those otherwise vintage and rare figure parts for cheap. As well as stuff like Jango rocket pack / helmet blanks (which used to be super common and $5 a piece on BL), but those have largely been bought out by customizers and people making mandos.

Love how the 501st is supposedly retiring at the end of the year, but in Australia we haven’t seen it on shelves since early 2021

AskMandR: is buying the 2012 Jabba’s palace and 2013’s jabba sail barge worth it, or should I wait for the anniversary of Rotj?

What’s your most wanted non-clone battle pack? Personally, I’d love to see some purge troopers especially since they showed up in kenobi.

I love the gunship idea. I just bought the 2008 Clone Wars Gunship (7676) and have been re-watching the Clone Wars. We NEED a new gunship having not gotten one in 9 years and a Clone Wars Gunship in 14 years. That would be amazing.

It's a massive problem with Hot Wheels employees taking cars from the production line before they get packaged and often before they get riveted together. They pop up for sale as "unspun" versions and often see people with large quantities of these often months before they are released.

Ask MandR: investing question, do you look at Star Wars leaks so you can purchase sets before they are shown so that you have reviews ready for when they officially appear?

Aw the good ole post-Christmas deals, I remember getting the 2010 Slave I for $20 at target. It normally retailed for $80. After the ship’s reappearance in Mando season 2 I rebuilt the legendary set, it’s still on my shelf

I've said many times it will not be. They have now been released in America and it is not fixed. The reason they delayed it always was some missing pieces in the box. It sucks but that's reality, they don't actually care to fix their problems.

As an aged fan of lego, I’m enjoying your forays into explaining “lego investing.” These explanations are sorely needed in the lego community. Especially for younger collectors. I’m a data driven guy, so your appreciation of graphs and raw data is appreciated. In the late 1980’s and on through the 1990’s, baseball cards became the collectible rage with kids. With values based on pristine cards from 20 or thirty years earlier…Kids and then adults began swooping in and preserving cards in pristine condition. Card manufacturers responded in kind by just producing more cards and raising prices. Do you see a trend here with Lego being another nostalgic brand from a later generation? Check out the peak values of 1987 Topps and Donruss sets. And map against what might be a glut in lego production meant to meet “collector” or “investor” demand. Your battle pack was one of the best lego sets in history. And will turn out to be the the best “army building” sets in history. Because it was overbought. Like a Griffey Rookie card. Keep up the good work.

I would LOVE a Tusken Raider bust set. That and a Snowtrooper helmet are some of my most wanted.

Ask MandR: How could LEGO improve on battlepacks and make them more useful for Army builders, as you can have some sets going out of stock for months because army builders for mocs/baseplates purchase several of them

Ask MandR: Why did the lego droid gunship 75233 have such a short shelf life? It was only on shelves for 11 months at the most. Incredible price hike since 2019.

Do you think the original Cloud City is overpriced and do you see the price potentially tanking? There's been some shady price manipulations happening on ebay with fake listings recently.

Yeah Cloud City Boba was stable at ~£200 for over a decade. Suddenly people are trying to sell him (and some crazy people are actually buying him) at over £1000. I definitely think there could have been some manipulation involved, combined with a new wave of fans who got into LEGO over covid and maybe don't understand the market as well and don't realise they're getting ripped off.

Nice Captain rex lego figure alarm clock. I had a Master Yoda one when i was younger. It's still around here in a box somewhere.

Have you thought of making a video on the prototype vaders, clone troopers, blasters, etc? I think this would be a good video for your channel and could get quite a few views if you do it right! Until now I had completely forgotten about the galactic marines. I loved playing them in the og battlefront II. I know really really want them as minifigs.

If Lego were to make a Battle Droid Battle Pack, what would you want to see in it? For me, it would have 4 regular Battle Droids, 2 Super Battle Droids, and the main build being a Vulture Droid. I calculated the piece count for my idea, it's 136 pieces (including the battle droids) and includes 5-6 stickers.

I think basing a gunship around the formula of the ATTE would be great. Rex, 3x 332nd troopers, 2x red clone pilots, and 2x super commando mandalorians. One of the things I love about the ATTE is that it has the designated operator of the vehicle. (Plus everyone who wants ashoka has her by now so we don’t need her taking up space imo)

Oh I press like to appreciate. That tie fighter collection is one of the best sets I own, especially regular tie fighters are built way sturdier than the separate tie fighter. And it's the only set where you can get a tie droid which is a cool legends tie

Ask MandR: I’ve never owned a UCS Lego set, and the closest I have is the buildable The Child set. Although, after seeing all of the sets that I have that range from $30-160, I thought that I might as well save to buy one. Which UCS set would you say I should get as a start? I don’t know if getting the landspeeder would be a good starting small, or if I should start big with the Falcon or the At-At.

Regarding the question about sets on Disney Plus shows, in the marvel line they usually have a few sets to coincide with a movie or something independent from the mainline “infinity saga” SW has done this before but for movies, so would you prefer that say when Kenobi came out the sets were independent from the summer wave (like Rise of skywalker wave but much smaller) or would it be too much? I could see me liking either way personally.

Dont underestimate yard sales. I found The Parisian Restaurant 10243 and the Eiffel Tower 21019 at a yard sale in a bin for $5.
