The models were probably redone as well, Valve had the tendency to only make half the gun in 3D and leave the part you couldn't see hollow

Masterpiece plugin!

This has the perfect balance of stiff and jank from the CS:S models, and the smooth and detailed animations of modern CoD.

I like how the way they used the original sounds instead of modern warfare sounds

Happy to see people keeping CSS alive.

A single Dual-Elite looks cool and cursed at the same time

This shows how ubiquitous MW's animations are. Massive respect to the animators team including Hyper for animating such cool masterpiece. (edited for controversial reasons) My apologies for crediting Ranon the most as he was one of my oldest fav channels, it doesn't mean I don't acknowledge the works of the rest of the animation team (including the ones who've contributed to the original style), I basically just showed appreciation for how far Ranon has become (in a fan perspective) before he was hired by Activision. Either I'm stupid for forgetting to credit others or I might've touched somebody's nerves...

Hyper isn't the only one who animated the games bruh, he didn't even contribute to the idea of realistic tactical animation style of MW, just adapting it

Looking at the graphic and still see as very modern, really shown how Valve effectively mastered realistic graphics back in 2004. Like CSS is like only take a few GB and it look godly realistic, while MW with it hundred of GB look half bake in just full bright.

People need to understand that the over the top weapon shake isn't a thing when you do an action on a gun, especially when taking out a magazine. You're not ripping it out

CS 1.6, CS Condition Zero and CS Source named that to AUG A1 / AUG A3. COD only named STB 556 on their AUG platform to avoid lawsuits about firearms

For me, I think it's the graphics. Seeing these modern animations on something old like CS 1.6 feels weird and off since that kind of style wasn't present or at least common during the era of the game. But a modern-ish looking game like CS Source, it feels fine since improved animations are expected in that era.

They're cool and all but all the pistols have cs:go-itis where they're animated almost exactly the same.

This makes me wildly uncomfortable but I'll allow it

Download the MOD below in the description and once you download it, extract it and paste it to cstrike then custom folder

not bad overall but i wish the duel elites had proper akimbo animations, the UMP-45 to have its foregrip re added on MW animations, and for the vanilla SG-550 auto sniper be used on the MW sig 552 animations instead of the SCAR 5.56 DMR thing being used currently as there are correctly mirrored view models of the sg550 on gamebanana that were made ages ago. But aside from that this pack and most certainly the models breath new life into an old game while also keeping the nostalgia aspect to it which is a really nice touch imho.

noted. Maybe I could compile the dualies on the dual 1911 anims and the sg550 on the sg552 anims, I dunno if anyone has compiled any vertgrip smg anims from mw for cs:s yet tho. (btw the single m9 and scar instead of sg550 were the mod author's decisions, not mine :p)

Plus, a few of the pistol animations (even the first one) have sounds that don't really fit any of the actions that are happening during the reload (there's a sound that happens right before you insert the mag into the Glock that doesn't really link up to anything). I really just don't like the way pre-CSGO guns sound.

It depends on the map you are using. If you want realism on Counter Strike Source then install csgo maps or maps that are full of details. Or use shader mods but your pc performance sacrifices.
