Yeah but if your weapon IS rusty, there wouldn't be as much of a problem reloading it than firing it, but it's great that they added this detail

In New dawn it's more of a weapon tier list, there's 4 in total. Grey weapon (tier 1) have slow reload animation and poor damage of course. When you get the blue weapon (tier 2) the reloads are a bit faster.

Granted I usually groan when people point out that most games still let you earn items in-game, New Dawn's MTX were so pointless since you could grind everything insanely fast. Not only that, but for me it was actually fun grinding for supplies. Totally understand the criticism against it though.

@@sillylilstella it's good for me. I bought a PS4 back in late June, since the PS5 came out I thought better grab it before it phases out. I don't have internet, so I was thankful that I can still play games like Far Cry 5, Resident Evil Within 2, Resident Evil Village, etc. on the PS4. I'm fine with not caring about DLCs or extra stuff that really is pointless, like extra clothes. Glad New Dawn is a standalone rather than a DLC, otherwise I'll never be able to play it due to no internet. Still need to get Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 3 as well, then hopefully 6 in the future. To people who might say how I'm watching KZread it's simple, unlimited internet data on my phone lol.

They literally got better with each game, I really do miss far cry 2 weapon jamming it really brought a feel of anxiety in gunfights

I never understood what was the big deal with weapon jamming and malaria pills, you literally just need to get a new weapon from the infinite weapon store and do the priest's mission and you'll be just fine

I had this cool idea for an FPS game with an upgrade system for weapons and stuff, and for one of the shotguns would have an upgrade where instead of loading one shell at a time, you would grab like 3 at a time and load them in quickly before grabbing a second handful.

Side note: the "Double Barrel Shotgun" in the chapters that uses brass casings is actually an elephant rifle, chambered in 700 Nitro.

12:52 the mgl released at 2008, but it has been forgotten in that moment. But after 13 years later. The mgl was back in far cry 6 2021. It doesn't existed in other far cry.

You should play it then, even if the story is..meh, the gameplay is ok. But i warn ya, it has a little change from Farcry5. Everything now is ranged by level or tier list. I won't spoil more but if ya wanna jump in, play with friend im sure it would be a lot of fun.

I love how much these games visually improve with each entry

New dawn is the only one ive never played. I never would have expected how freaking cwispy those animations look. Honestly, my favorite of the lot.

When you can tell which game is being shown but fan of the FC series no matter how bad it can be at times. This game still beats many others.

While my favourite one is 4, 5 has some awesome animations. I'm really courious of how 6 will turn out.

Something about the far cry 4 animations bring me back man, that was my first far cry game and still my favorite

2:10 That isn't a double barrel shotgun, its a .700 NE which is a double barrel elephant rifle. You can see in the reload it ejects gigantic rifle rounds, not shotgun shells

I love how the spaz is FC 5 just slaps the slug inside

I just noticed that the far cry 5 M16 and AR-C reload animations are an homage to far cry 1's m16 reload animation

So relaxing and pleasing 😍

This somehow helps me sleep, as well as a good anxiety reliever.

For the double barrel shotgun the .700 nitro is a rifle if i recall more specific a elephant rifle

funny how only 5 and new dawn were the only ones with real weapons training but their all masters at it. that and game developers love the desert eagle

i didnt even notice that far cry 4 had some different animations than 3 and new dawn had some that fc5 didnt have untill now

Here let me fill out the missing guns from the main series: 1. .44 magnum short FC5 2. .44 magnum sixer FC5 3. M37 FC5 4. M60-V FC5 5. AKM-S FC5 6. AKM-S warrior FC5 7. M1911 Golden Aerie FC5 8. RPG-7 Classic FC5 (hidden gun) 9. Golden AK47 FC2 (hidden gun) Note: The AK and .44 magnum in Far cry 5 has different models and stats unlike the M37 and M60-V they're both just a reskin from the original guns. As for the hidden gun can be acquired through exploration of the map.

My 2 best pistols i use alot in farcry is the po8 long barrel or the a99 smg

One thing I'd like to say is that in far cry 4 that's not a double barrel shotgun that's a .700 nitro express. But I'm assuming you already know that put it with the double barrels since it has the same animation

The animation were probably recycled since the games both use the same engine and it’s probably easier and cost effective to slap on a new coat of paint and sound effects

PSA: if your gun EVER has ANY amount of rust on or in it: DO NOT FIRE IT. FC5 and New Dawn are already kinda silly with the weapon choices, but using an M60 that’s THAT rusted is just ASKING to explode.
