I always liked it. It was a good last resort. If your using a sniper and the enemy get too close, then just pull out the executioner, and you may just stand a chance.

@@El_Soy I understand, but just because they did it doesn't mean it's not overly time consuming. Especially with a fan base as demanding as COD it's not really surprising they're being forced to pump out new games more often as opposed to quality games spread out between multiple years. It's a lot easier to have a basic set of weapon sounds and just change them slightly rather than create a unique gun sound for what is at minimum 100+ guns. Not to mention the gun sounds in BO2 aren't the exact same, there are differences albeit not so vivid.

@@M4RKSMN with the reload sounds there are parts that are actually the exact same and copy pasted from one to another, and I'm also pretty sure that cods up until bo2 did not have 100+ guns (I don't know about newer cods cause I haven't really played them). Something else I thought of is the fact that BO2 did face some rushed development before it's release. There are interviews with Jason Blundell of the zombies team explaining that they had to redirect studio assets to rush and get the campaign done, which drew away from zombies development (which is why tranzit is not the map it was supposed to be). That's the best explanation I can find really. It's not like it's a big deal, but just strange considering COD is usually pretty good with attention to detail on their guns

What was missed: Ray Gun Mark 2 Remington New Model Army Sliquifier The Staffs Paralyzer Jet Gun Mustang & Sally Blundergat/ Acidgat Death Machine (can be reloaded in zombies) We’ll ignore knives even though the riot shield was done which you don’t actually “reload”

I really didnt notice how many of the sounds were recycled when I was playing the game. Guess the gameplay can outweigh the audio design then.

People keep saying that the reused reload sounds are a problem, but wouldn't have noticed it if they were playing the game back in the day. They only noticed it because of this video.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but the assault rifle reloading audio is so satisfying to hear.

Even though I hardly ever used it, the Swat has probably my favorite looking reload of all time in any fps. Sound as well. Mmm mm man I’m glad I got to experience this game from release night all the way through.

Phyton has the best reloading sound in the game. Especially when the shell eject, mmmmm *ear orgazm*

I think you forgot the Fast Mag animations for the pistols and M1216. Other than that, really good showcase as usual! I look forward to seeing more!

I loved when they would charge the slide instead of button releasing it. Need more of that in the newer games

Even though most of the guns reloads sound the same, I never noticed because the game was so fun. This is the best COD in my opinion, and it will be extremely difficult, if not impossible to surpass it.
