@@MidgardAxe unfortunately not. Its hard enough to get cold steel here and then there is a huge price mark up and only specialised online stores stock and ship it. Pain in the arse laws here though.

@@josephdowell1027What laws are there to prevent you guys from having axes? If it’s that you can’t get it and not the laws, could you pay for it and then have someone in the US send it to you? I guess what I’m asking is what would be the difference in that and me sending you this other axe to work on?

@@MidgardAxe you can buy, own, work on the likes but if say im throwing in my garden and a member of general public has a nosey and decides to call the police. Id have the armed response unit at my house doing a "weapon search". Its all a bit red tape with any bladed items here, its daft because it makes teaching my lads bushcraft, archery and throwing really difficult unless its in a liscensed and insured club. The laws here make little sense when anyone can buy a foot long kitchen knife from the local £1 shop but a tool or sporting item gets viewed as nothing more than a weapon by the authorities. If i threw my axes or shot my bow or even just whittled a stick in an area like you do (even if its my own property) if i was seen by just one snowflake id be tased and cuffed within 30mins here 😂😂😂. Its really difficult to get good quality axes because of this, the increase in price is massive because it has to be sent via a specialised online store if its cold steel for example. Council tool dont trade directly at all here and a gransfors is about £140-£300 pending on the model + shipping. For example here that saddle axe is £250 inc shipping ($311.8). Makes the hobby an expensive one 😂

@@josephdowell1027 good gracious that’s nuts. Hey it’s only a matter of time before that starts here too. Before long every place will be like that, by design I think. They implement things slow. Been doing it for years here. People won’t notice or catch on as fast. Well if I can help in anyway let me know. Those prices are ridiculous for anyone to pay that much for a $60 axe.

I think it looks cool too, kinda looks like scale armor in the middle.. sweet!

They are definitely pricey. Good axe though. I’m looking for something comparable in size, weight and length that could perform similarly that’s a little cheaper
