Thank you for the info❤❤❤
👏clapping for the disclaimer in the beginning. its so important for people to note this when watching these types of videos, what I spend does not mean that's what you will spend and there are other factors to consider like the area you stay in, lifestyle, where you do your shopping, exchange rates etc. Great video!! as always!!👩⚖
The quality of this video and aesthetics😍🔥.. Unmatched!

Yr presentation need more graphics and st. To the point😂😂😂 😂😂😂 加油⛽️ Enjoy yr stay there… Was there 2015-2019,,,, Lovely expat. Events daily when there😊😊😊😊
I’m in the East 🇨🇳 My ex coworker lived in Beijing in 2019 and left just before CoVid. Your cost of living breakdown is similar to hers, thanks for sharing 🧘🏽♀️ I’m plant-based/ vegan so my weekly fresh produce costs ¥70 and my overall groceries including cleaning supplies cost ¥400. I spent more on snacks/ “sin tax” since I get my supplies from international stores. I love your candles, make up and overall aesthetic ❤️

Hi there, great vid. Can i ask about central heating in Beijing, do most if not all have central heating? and if it is gas based then is that another bill apart from the electricity I presume?
@emilyboitumelo

Hi. As far as I know most (all) apartments have centralized heating. The landlord pays the heating fee so you don’t have to worry about it. The government switches it on when winter starts then off when the winter ends.

@@emilyboitumelo ok, that's interesting. So it's switched on but can you as the tenant alter the temperature via a thermostat etc? It's interesting that central heating doesn't really exist in places like Shanghai though winter can get quite cold and damp
Apartments usually come fully or partially furnished? Or not furnished, at all?

You can choose the one you want. I’ve always rented fully furnished apartments

I forgot to include that 🙈🙈 sorry. Gyms are anything between 3000rmb and 12000rmb for a year. For reference I paid 4000rmb for a year and a personal trainer is 400rmb per hour

Hi Msizi, are you going there to teach? If so, which agent did you use because most I've seen are not providing PU letters for South Africans☹️

@emilyboitumelo

Most of them do yes. Housing allowance or a free apartment, it depends on the school.
