Same, loving content
The tshirt with the back tie looked great on you I thought! I think you’re right in that it’s a very particular piece which wants for warmer weather, so unless you love it it’s not worth having in your wardrobe.
It's amazing how much I've learned from following your channel, Helen ❤Especially when to *not* buy something that fits kinda alright, but in the end won't get much wear. I now pay a lot more attention to styling options, quality of fabric, etc.
So helpful for petites! Thank you so much Helen ❤
COS is my fav brand - I love modern looking clothes and at 5'9 with an athletic build, most pieces seem to be just made for my body frame :) That being said, not every 'shape' or 'fabric' is for me, but I do love how their shape and fabrics often make things interesting - someone once described it as 'quiet statements' and I think thats what I usually aim for when dressing. I also feel COS can be quite timeless as they dont always follow trends too literal and that makes it less trendy looking I also highly recommend their linen! It wears very well over time and often also has interesting takes on the basic shirt or pant.

I love hearing that they work perfectly for you! The quiet statements phrase I think is the PERFECT way to describe COS pieces. I haven't tried many of their linen pieces but I'll be sure to check it out and maybe try-on a few pieces when I'm in store next :)
Stumbled upon your video today, loved all your explanations of cut & fabrics! Like how you explain why you like or dislike something!! Great review!! I’m hooked!! ❤❤
I loved the dresses and the white skirt the most. Really versatile and they look super comfortable and easy to care for.
Great review, Helen! You nailed it on every point! 👏👏❤️

Another detailed & descriptive review. Thank you Helen.
Yes! One of my favourite stores, I was literally wondering a few days ago if you had a COS or could get stuff on COS As I love hearing your thoughts! I'm 5ft6 and a UK dress 8, sometimes I'm literally the smallest their smallest dresses/one pieces fit, and it's then a maxi and only covering my arms because I have long arms😂 But they're literally the grown up store of my childhood dreams, I've always loved cool eccentric silhouettes that happen to also hold their weight when it comes to being stylish. Edit to say, separates often come in smaller sizes, like their tops etc
Hey I love your channel!! Been listening to your videos while planning outfits ❤

Loved this review! As a similarly sized person I used to find COS never fit me- their sizing felt very european with massively oversized cuts and long legs on everything. It all really overwhelmed my frame :( I feel like they might now be catering to more of an asian market? Their sizing is so much better now!
more videos like this!! these are SO helpful
Helen I really really love your style of your videos so so so much you're looking absolutely absolutely stunning in all of them you are my inspiration and I wish you have a wonderful day always🤗💗💫

New follower here!! Love your videos! Adore your style, ordered a few pieces. Thank you for the content provided! :)
good in depth reviews as always. Yes please always knitwear!
Love the Vlog Helen. I live in UK so I always appreciate knitwear and things I can layer with knitwear. I've been looking at the denim dress for some time. Would you say it runs true to size. It would make a great layering piece. I have been obsessed with Cos for a while. It's the modern look and the quality of their knitwear. However it has become quite expensive. The quality can be excellent so I feel that it lasts for many years if you pick the right item. Thanks for all the detail, I really appreciate the work you put into each Vlog. I have the stripe voluminous blouse also and I love it, another good layering piece with wool slim fit turtlenecks for winter.
I so know what you mean about a "love/ hate" relationship with COS! I'm petite too, and while I love their quality, their cuts don't always work for me. Looking at what I've bought in the past, I rarely go for anything other than tops, especially their knitwear. I avoid trousers unless they have a shape that won't be ruined by shortening them. I'm not really into dresses and skirts, but a lot of COS is just too oversized for me. My favourite piece is a lightweight wool wrap top from their atelier collection - it was sold out for ages, but I managed to get one in a size smaller than I normally wear, and was so pleased that it fit perfectly! And a shout out to their deconstructed wool knit I've just received, its cropped and boxy, and I'm so pleased that it has proper knited cuffs that I can easily turn back. The boxy fit works well for me with wide leg trousers.
Great video!
I’ve never tried anything from COS so this is very helpful :)

As someone on the near petite size at 5'4, these explanations are really helpful! I love how COS looks on others but often feel like I'm drowning in their cuts. I just added the cardigan and white shirt to my cart after watching this, though I have something quite similar so I may need to wait on it a bit.
Thank you. I love visiting the Cos store but at 5’2” even the other customers tower above me.
6:04 is beautifully suited to you I think. The charcoal colour, the ribbed material and texture feels very calming. The long sleeve, high waist, mid cut skirt, all these cut points work nicely on you and are flattering, in my opinion. The brown block coloured shoe mirrors your hair colour and perfects the outfit. The cream bag is sophisticated and doesn't draw attention away from the charcoal and brown tones which suit your hair and eyes. I'm sorry that the material was not comfortable and you didn't find the material to be opaque. 15:05 the tie back black t-shirt looks beautiful for your shape I think. I love how you styled it. The tie back highlights your waist and the simple sleeves end just at your waist also pinpointing it. The simple jeans elevate the outfit and make it seem casual and effortless. Again, these brown shoes are perfect in my opinion as they match your hair tone and complete the outfit. The white jean also looks great with the rolled bottom :)

I like hearing your opinions on cos pieces. I'm petite too, and I haven't had any luck with cos, although I appreciate their clothes on others. I would like you to try Anthropologie.
Great video and really helped me with shortlisting some COS pieces. I also want to ask where is your denim top from?
Hi! Loved your haul ❤ What do you think about sizing of the buttoned cardigan? I know COS tends to run big, comparing to Zara for example
I have a love/hate relationship with COS too.. ;-) I quite like the basic roundneck (thinner) T-shirts made out of 100% cotton and I've also got some nice short dresses and skirts. But many pieces are simply too wide and boxy on my rather short frame.
I love true white and it’s getting hard to find. I’m sick of writing reviews that say “It’s not white”. Everything from beige to ivory is called white these days in brand descriptions.

Thank you for your service! I've taken to trying to judge from the lighting of the picture if it's actually a warm white instead of stark white. I feel there's a disconnection between the designers/buyers/merchandisers and the marketing department on most websites.
I love the mules you wear - are they the brown Jody style from Flattered? Thank you! 😊
Keep doing videos like this pls. 😊
I’m relatively new to your channel and I enjoy your videos. Many of the clothing pieces you didn’t like here were my favorites on you. It looked to me like you prefer loose or oversized pieces on your body more than fitted ones. You have a lovely petite figure and the fitted dresses, skirts and tops looked very flattering on you in my opinion. 18:51
The white skirt is gorgeous. Also, Navy knit co-ord. If you were it with tights, it should solve the "see through" issue.
Helen can u share the details/ material about the shoes ( Mary Janes) u were wearing with the navy set
Great vid Helen. Can I ask what brand and style of jeans are you wearing at the 15:15 mark? Are they Levi Wedgie Straights?
Hi, may i ask where you got the jeans from @15:06? Thank you! love your channel x
Super helpful review! Do you know what brand/item name the black shirt at 9:49 is (the one paired with the tailored trousers)?
At 5 ‘ 2 I can’t make COS work for me, so I avoid it. Great review and helpful.
Can you please share the navy skirt you wore with the ballon striped shirt
I’m 4ft 10 but I love cos .I love the the looseness of it .I’m short but I love the style .
Brittany Bathgate (also 5'3" I think) tried on the same white poplin skirt in a video recently and it looks like such a beautiful piece! My issue with COS is that their clothes don't last for a long time. I love their billowy dresses but I stopped purchasing after multiple dresses I bought a few summers ago only lasted for 2 seasons max.

That’s very strange. I have pieces from Cos that I bought 11-12 years ago (Cos wasn’t so popular those days 😄) and I still have them in perfect condition. Though, I have to admit that nowadays when Cos has gained so much popularity and their collections come out more often than before I find some pieces of so-so quality (mainly knits).
It’s the black slides that are making you look shorter and more stumpy. The full sleeve maxi dresses are the most flattering….without the frumpy oversized blazer. Maybe COS cuts just don’t do much for your body type. They just look ok…but I think your sezane pieces are more flattering.
Hi Helen! Great video :) Hope you could review Daughters of India too
Hi Helen may i know where the khaki midi skirt 4:18 is from? :)
Love your red bag! Loewe?
I only buy their t shirts and woollens. Their ts are just fantastic and get better with age and washing.
I'm 155 (5'1) so yeah, I'll stick to the bags haha
I almost forgot, where is the asymmetrical top from (the one you paired with the white skirt)?
Can you share what black top you are wearing at 12:20? Link if available, thank you 🙏🏻 😊
Love this Helen! Your style inspire me so much. I’m your same height and always find it hard to dress up. Thank you for this super informative video. I buy from COS often and this is super helpful. Lots of love x ❤

I really enjoyed watching your review, I totally agree with the love-hate relationship with COS! Can I ask where the navy long-sleeve that you paired with the white skirt at 12:21 is from? I am in love with the neckline-detail!!😍

Omg do you ever look great in gray!!!

Also your denim dress is perfect in proportion and cut for you.
Cos isnt really accessible to me whete i am, the prices are high, tbe duties outrageous, so im just here for the outfit inspo!!
i was looking for creatures of sonaria 😂
It's a shame Cos only designs for tall slim, model type women. They really should be more inclusive an consider producing a range for 5' to 5' 5". Not just cut off versions of their main range, but items specifically designed to look good on shorter proportions.
♥♥♥
Black sweater: Could you get this at K Mart? The fabric might be fabulous, but there is nothing that looks special about it. The eyelet blouse needs a camisole under it. There are several problems with these bell sleeves. Having lived through the 1960s, when everyone wore them, they have to be the correct length simply to stay out of the way. If you go out to dinner, inevitably you will find your sleeves in your food. If they are too long, you can't roll them up or get them out of the way. Getting them tailored is a nightmare, since they have to be taken up at the shoulder. Skip the bell sleeves and do something better with your money. The black and the gray dresses look great on you.
COS is always too big on me 😔 even in XS ... except their classic tee shirts
I'm 153cm and I've never found a COS item that works for me 😢
I feel like cos used to habe better pieces and the prices used to be more affordable as well
I wonder how much the jeans will strech out with time? 🤔
@trixi1608

Hardly at all. Most COS jeans, like the tapered fit shown in this video, don't have any elasthane in them so they will stay exactly the same.

It's strange because I feel like it looks much worse on me in real life HAHA. But I was looking at the footage and it wasn't so bad. I think it's because in real life you can definitely tell how sheer the skirt is. So the top tucked in is more visible too.
I don’t like those long bell sleeves on the COS wool skirt set, or anything so impractical. What about if a meal is served buffet style? Those sleeves will be dragging through everyone’s food! One would need a good pair of rubber bands to keep them up, which ruins the look anyway, even if you happen to have some with you. Wearability is more important to me than “special style details”. I won’t be wearing those puddling trousers, either.
I wondered about COS, isn’t it in the H&M group? H&M clothes are always ridiculously long and low-cut on me, and I’m an inch taller than you, 5’4”.
@alexandraelenacristea
9 ай бұрын
It's true. Cos is part of H&M, and so is & other stories.
Oversized items overwhelm my frame too much. More fitted items show my proportions and slimness better. COS is never a brand on my radar.
The cos garments are beautiful. But they do look like they're "miss size" and you (and all of us watching your channel) are "petite size". I think you could tell from the draping around the armhole even though the dress is fitted. And the widest part of the pant hip sits lower than your widest part of your hips.
