That gear shift at 3:16 would hit hard in concert. So awesome
Cory Wong and Billy Strings are a duo that need to collaborate more often. Love them both.
Hell yeaa to Sunny’s bass intro abs props to having Cody Fry in on this epic track!

Sweet bass playing, and he's playing a right handed bass left handed, not even strung lefty!

@@tjwright Sonny is a studio legend. If a specific bass had the right sound for a session he needed to be able to play it then and there, lefty or not! Just another tool for a master. I’m in awe

Cory wong and the Wongtones
This is truly a ride. From packing your things, to getting in the car. The excitement of the road, cops catching speeding cars, and stops for snacks; before gettting back on the road to finish your trip.
Like bluegrass folk jazz. I can't get enough. I need a lot more of this in my life. Oh, my goodness.

Check out the song Big Country by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. You might enjoy that too.
Outro of the year. Even without the sneeze. This whole track is smooooooooth.
Billy Strings and Vulf/Cory are a couple of my favorite contemporary artists. I've wondered what this combo would sound like. This is so much better than anything I imagined.
Billy's postlude sneeze was perfection...
Love it. Putting this in playlist right near “Big Country” from Béla and the Flecktones.
So much damn talent in that room. Hard to pick one part out but when Cory takes his first solo it’s beautiful.
Billy was especially in the zone here. What a great song!
Sounds like Nashville And Minneapolis made a Pat Metheny baby.

I couldn't agree more saxophone needs to be turned down a little bit bass guitar and Billy both need to go up a little bit and that should be good for starters.

yes it was ok for the second solo, but in the first solo and the unison parts it was a little hard to hear. I think if he wasn't the guest it wouldn't bother me, but he is the feature player. Still loved it though.
Cody Fry just casually jamming out in the background! Love it! :D

Beautiful! I already knew of Billy Strings but just discovered Cory Wong tonight in his collab with Tim Henson and Plini which is what led me here and I’m glad I found this because I’ve been listening to Bluegrass all day after my Grandpa passed this morning and i think he would have really liked this arrangement!

The Flecktones influence is strong here. I'm hearing a Stomping Grounds vibe. Really nice. =)
Billy Strings is changing music. He plays everything with everyone
Never in a million years would I have expected this collab. My favorite bluegrass guitarist and the Wongmaster. Loved it loved it loved it!
😊 Smiles and smiles.
cory! billy! and kenan thompson on bass!? LOVE IT!
So much talent in one room. No one trying to show off, just playing for the song. I’d love to have a 1/100th the talent of any one of them.
Holy smokes! I was waiting for Billy to cut loose and damn he did!
Wow - saw the title and never clicked so fast! So many great young artists out there right now, and Cory seems to be collaborating with all of them. Would love to hear a Wong/Lawrence collaboration too if it hasn't happened yet!
Whenever I come back to this.. I watch it 10 times.. a masterpiece!
Cory Wong has the coolest friends.
cool vibes...wanted to see Cory tonight...didn't happen, hopefully next time!

Cory mastered simplicity.
Sonny! I remember you playing with Prince! Love you! Thank you for still being out there giving your bass!
Love how Cory is doing a quasi-lap guitar thing here with all the bends and slides. Sounds amazing!
