Nice corvette Al, back in the early 90s are next door neighbors owned a white corvette and also they owned a copy of the A Team van. I have photos of them somewhere. The engine sounds very healthy. Good video lads.

Nice motor one of my poster cars on my wall when I was a kid I would be using that every day when fudgie was blowing the pipe with the stale fuel the smell was definitely stale fuel and not one of fudgie farts 💩 Another great Sunday video has al and fudgie so funny best laugh ever👍

As if it was in any doubt of starting under the guidance of you and Fudgey. I like how you tried to make the alternator “Flame Red” with some help using a drop of fire. Swiftly extinguished and she runs. Hopefully you be able to sort the stopping in part 2.

Good to see it all go to plan for once , except for the dodgey alternator, thanks for that fellas, enjoyed every minute of it. The frustraition of fitting the battery was comical to, why do the Americans put batteries indoors? I'd hate to contemplate how much those tyres cost per corner. Still its a beautiful machine and orange doesnt make it any less exciting.

There's one thing you can bet money on, is the reliability of a chevrolet small block engine.

A different area of the workshop...the "Yanky" end? Looks, clean, organised, dry and well lit....am I on the wrong channel?

Years ago, it may have been "Mongoose", these days I don't bother fitting alarms to my cars. I update them quite often having several cars, vans and wagons ( 4x4's ) all at once.🤔👍

Always loved the Matchbox version of the Corvette Caper Cart back in the 70's but when you see the big boy version, it's a bit of a letdown.

You got a brake light out at the back and you'll find it needs bleeding and check for leaks on the breaking system obviously a new alternator and you have a huge cleaning job and a window mec to replace and you have the sexy beast of a car sir

GM once tried turning one of their famed V8 engines into a diesel, apparently it was awful and very unreliable so they poopooed the idea of using diesel engines at all, cos they were bad at making them, instead of, y'know, employing anyone who knew how to build them... :P

That was the olds 350 you refer to. It was a bad idea. They also made a different 6.2/6.5 used in Chevy trucks,Hummers and military. Don't forget their old Detroit Diesel division who made diesels for a zillion years put in GMC's,semi's and busses.

Its ok but……….It’s not as pretty as your Capri
