You’ve gotta love a bit of Sunday viewing and watching Al get creative, especially when the expanding foam comes out. Watertight and yet doubles up as weight saving. You’ll be able to drive the car in water and the back end will float for sure. Once you fix the floor obviously. Hopefully we’ll see Fudgy back in Wednesday’s episode too.

If only we'd have had expanding foam in the 1970s, back in my dad's car days, you had to make do with scrunched up newspaper, zinc gauze & lots of P38 filler to get rid of big holes!!

How I wish they still built cars as simple as this. My neighbour had these for company cars, then they gave him a Vauxhall Cavalier, he came home one day the car on the back of a low loader totally gutted from a fire. Great video, as always a very enjoyable watch.

God's workshop is forever leaking up here in the Highlands of Scotland I don't think he can find the staff to fix it 😂😂. Peugeot 305 is coming along well 😊 A short video is better than no video

Ah the memories of this exact car when I passed my driving test .... it's boot with seats down was a great place to impress my girlfriend with country drives and filling holes , no expanding foam in my day just deodorising the scent of passion before poor old dad went to work in the morning 😂😂😂

1981 Peugeot 305 @ "2:48" "Spiderage" 😂 one thing to get rid of the "creepy - crawlies", put those blue carpets in the cab of one those smokey CF2 / CF2 4WD vans 😮❤😊

Deserves to be kept on the road, this is the epitome of a true survivor.

Expanding foam - very good , not a car restoration just making it functional - pure genius ha ha

@@Ivorbiggin Yeah, if that thing's supposed to be on the road for more than a month it might need a less rusty tailgate. Mind you, finding a better scrap one might be easier than welding this one, so no real harm done.

Poor old Fudgy! Those coffee cups must weigh a ton😁. I suffer with back problems from time to time and can sympathise. The pug is coming along with now functioning breakings and foamy foamy at the back window. Mrs 6D will be delighted with your carpet cleaning solution....maybe!😁👍👍

Can't beat the good old French "agricurtural machinery" , i smashed my 205 last night and just finished stitching him up .. much to my surprise it turned up looking better than before the crash !! Hope there will be some cunning max powa engine mods on a 305 too :) or at least play some old tape "till the rust tear us apart" while driving surely Mrs will like some romantic notes !

Hopefully fudgey makes full recovery soon AL 👍

Rain drying is the best😂

When I joined a new company back in 1979, I was given the choice of either a Renault or a Peugeot. I went for a Renault 18TS, which wasn't a bad car but handled like a hippo on roller skates. I always thought I should have gone for the 305. Smaller engine, but probably a nicer car all round.

Hope fudgy is feeling OK soon its not the without you having a bit of banter with each other.

Quick tip for drying mats and carpets, Al, angle them so a corner points to the ground and they,ll drip dry quicker. You and Fudgy are top guys😇😇

With fudge being off with a bad back I bet it's been really bissy for you do wish fudge a fast recovery I stuffer with knackered knees with arthritis as well and it slows me down after years of not looking after them and doing welding for over 25 years but you doing the best you can job of that really old Peugeot which would of been scrapped years ago 😂 but crazy foam al never would think of you doing that 🤣 you could of dumped alot of filler in it instead but your giving it a bit of life back and nothing worse than a leaking roof in the workshop mate 👍

It was a good idea to add new metal to that tailgate, even though it was just the number plate.

Truly unexceptional, other than the cunning fix to the tailgate. Hope Fudgy's back is soon restored, looking forward to seeing the finished Audi TT - it has been a long time!

That rear plate is what I would consider a structural repair. Don’t apologies re short or lacking vids (birthday specials aside) most people with at least one brain cell realise you’re running a business.
