You guys are the only ones that I watch for case reviews cause in my opinion you are the best cause you state the goods and the bads and everything else and you also go into so much detail that most of the things that you point out I would have never noticed so keep doing what you are doing

Thanks :D
Excellent review :) Have spent the last day checking out your full tower reviews, and you've helped me decide on this case.
Simplesmente o melhor review que vi na internet.
i have this case but in black. i love the size. make it so easy to open and close and access stuff inside. great for light shows with the nzxt hue+
The best channel for case reviews because all the points which constitute a review are discussed. Good work guys.
Thanks for all your reviews which helped me to learn more
I love your case reviews Dmitri!
I've just bought the 780T and built my rig with it, I never actually thought about moving the Harddrive case around in different spots, i just went about removing one and leaving it as is, I will say this though, even though there's not much to cable routing for the fans on the top of the case, it's still pretty good to use for inside the case, especially if you decide to go LED fans, I tend to like seeing the fans on the inside a bit more than from the outside, but that's just me, so far I've had no trouble setting up this PC, and I'm loving the case as it is now (seeing as they tuned it up from when this video was made).
What a great review. I really like the look and over all look, especially the yellow case, that is cool and a nice change.
As always very helpful and constructive analysis of potential future upgrades along with short coming of the case. I always enjoy the effort you put into your camera work and feel unlike other channels you utilise a good contrast of panning, macro shots and more importantly colour correction. P.s ill forgive for not replying to my message and posting the review instead :P
I just picked one of these up from B&H, I love it, it's an awesome case, thanks for the review!
I managed to get the top fan cables to rout behind the motherboard. Also there is rubber covering the bottom cut out for cables now. And its beautiful. Thanks for the vid, very helpful, especially the hdd cage part
Beautifully filmed!!!
love your reviews
Nice detailed report.
That is one hell of a sexy case, the designers are to be commended
When it comes to PC cases review, you guys are the best!!
I got a pre built one with this in 2016 n still using it. Feels like owning a Black Lamborghini 🤩. Will need to upgrade my PC soon
Best looking case IMO
So many things pointed out here on the pre production sample that could have been done diffrently. Mostly some more holes for cables and maybe thumbscrews for the cages. Would be awesome if they change these before butting it into production.
Thanks for psu sizing info, that was just the information I was looking for.
Love my 760T, and this 780T looks good, too. Might even be possible to use an H80i on the back/rear of the case with this one.
I was so excited for this case and then Cosair gave me this. Looks like everyone needs to go to Phanteks for Full-Towers and Fractal Design for Mid-Towers.
This is my dream case i fell in love with it in 2016 at first look!

Are you still happy with it? I'm torn between 570x and Fractal Design R6. The R6 seems like the best overall case in the market. But I also own 600T at home so 780T would feel like an evolution. If only they made a 2018 model.
I can get the black version with red LED fans, looks sick!
*****: I couldn't agree more. I would love to see a similar variation of this case in a mid-tower form with similar watercooling provisions.
I own the 600T and was really looking forward to it's replacement. I love the style of this chassis, and I could even get along with the size, but alas it only has two optical drive bays, which is just not enough. My 600T has a nice Scythe fan controller (which is the one thing I could do without), a blu-ray burner, an LED controller and a dual 2.5" SATA hot swap hard drive caddy. Here we have a full tower, while my 600T is only a mid tower, yet the 600T has more 5 1/4" bays. Any custom loop water cooling buid that uses a optical bay reservoir will have no bays left for anything else. In fact, I have a mini tower with four optical bays sitting right beside me. If it wasn't for this fact, I would purchase one of these cases as soon as they became available. I'm not concerned with any of the other faults mentioned and they are easily worked around, but the lack of 5&1/4" bays is a deal breaker. At this point I am finding myself leaning toward the 760T since it has three bays, even though I prefer the style of the 780T. I am also looking at other manufacturers even though I'm a big fan of Corsair's cases.
The bumblebee yellow goes incredibly well with the new Corsair Gaming gear which also features the new yellow colour theme.
Your video and Linus' showed up in my sub box and I clicked yours first. Just keep going the great job you do :)
The case looks fantastic.. but plastic! so much plastic! I am really curious as to how much it would cost to manufacture and even sell a fully aluminium case with the exact same design. A smaller market for it but damn that would be worth it.

***** And Lian-Li.. But both of those do more square designs, if a company could re-create this exact design and keep all of the angles but none of the plastic it would make for an amazing case.
Great review. I have to agree about the size and lack of space efficiency. It's a gorgeous looking case but when Fractal Design, Phanteks and NZXT are building more "tightly" packed, but still easy-to-build cases, Corsair should try something similar. It seems like they are doing this with the Carbide series, but many of those cases are relatively plain looking, and outside of the Carbide Air, are not very WC friendly. Nice looking Darkside rad BTW. Daz would be proud :)
I want a case that looks like that (well the white one) with the build quality of my 800D.
i'm wondering if you would make a review about the new bequiet case that will release on october
The lines on this thing!
This case is very cool. I do like it.
good review.. I ordered the case but I don't know install my parts
Anywhere I can listen to the background music? I really like it.
i like this case
I have come up with an idea to have a frame, then an inside that can be mounted 4 different directions.
i really love the new designs of corsair cases. but i just upgraded last Christmas to a phantom 630 window edition. being a pc enthusiast inst cheap. AKA first world problems lol
Meh kinda wish there was some sort of sound proofing material on the case unless the plastic absorbs the possible noises from the inside. Of course running fans intended for silent performance at a lower rpm can help dramatically but still even a little sound insulation material can help a lot. I do quite like the Fractal Design Define but it's a shame that it's only a solid color rather than having a nice accenting color or the option for doing that.
Were you still able to snake the fan cables through the top somehow? You show the fan installed, how difficult was it to get the connector through the tiny space at the top? Also what cases offer 9 expansion slots, and the same cooling options, as I have an H100i radiator, as well as two 980 ti Hybrid cards. I'm finding my choices limited here. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Great case. What was the little one next to it?
Was hoping, even after its announcement at CES that this would have been mid tower. This seems more of a big brother than a successor to the 600T.
You really don't need a fan on the side, these things run so cool I have a six core I7 5930 in there with a gtx 980. I can open it at any time and it is just as cool on the inside as it is ok the outside. Maybe even cooler since the fans are blowing
I agree, Corsair should make a mid-tower variant of this case. (580t?) I'm building a pc soon and love the design of the 780t but it's just too big for my needs.
This case is like going from a lamborghini murcielago to a reventon. It looks simply amazing, I can't wait to get it for my birthday.
I did not like the design when I saw it on LinusTechTips channel. But it has grown on me, now I love it :)
I'll admit, after watching your's and Linus's reviews. I'm totally cool with my 760t.
Are you guys going to review the phantek enthoo evolv soon?
I think that a smaller mid tower would be sick! But this is still most likely going to be my first case. Just something about the shape get's me :)
Fingers crossed for a windowless matx version.
ive been waiting 4 months for this case and im DEFINITELY going to build a system in this

Don't, Phanteks's enthoo luxe is way better for the price. $140 for black & $150 for white

The Luxe's ascetics are better than this (780T)
@XerXies2112

omar sheikh I find that ascetics are more of an opinionated question then anything. To me, cases aren't as much for a price to performance ratio rather, people tend to buy them for ascetics reasons. That is why company's like NZXT still exist. Sure, they make good cases, but they aren't as good for the money as something like a case from Phanteks. If he likes the look of the case, then don't bash on him for getting the case.
@gassygorilla4767

Gerren Hunter I'm not bashing his decision, i agree ascetics are more of personal taste but paying a premium of $200 just for looks and not much on features and performance is wrong universally.
1:33 Audio jacks shouldn't be that far away from each other. some headsets might have plugs that are joined too far near the ends.
Nice case, but if I had the money to build a rig right now, I'd go with the Enthoo Luxe.
This case would look great with the MSI MPOWER mobos.

And the Lighting video card series too hmmmm I just may save up to do that :)
corsair needs to add more cases in their vengeance series!
Blue, any chance of one in blue? I like the yellow. I wonder if you could order them with solid doors for both sides? That way I could custom graphic the case and not worry about the window. I wonder could you fit like 20 ssd's in there?
Funny, how You and Linus compared the Phanteks plastic tool box vs Corsair cardboard box. I'm having seconds thoughts on this 780T and I don't like the bottom panel latches exposed when panels are closed, looks off line on the case taking away a smooth seamless design.
Looks like a Panzer Max...which you need to review!
It would be nice to have this about the size of the 450 d yes.
Do they plan on making a mid tower with this similar build? I love the way it looks but a full tower is a bit too big for me :/
Since ever I subscribed to HardwareCanucks , everytime there's a new product to review , both Linus and Dimitri will upload them at the same date and time....but in the end I still prefer HardwareCanucks's review more. It's more In Depth and Detail specially the Camera Works ! I find it more enjoyable and relaxing really , specially the nice music in the background.

Yup, u r right. To me, Linus seems to be more of a marketing guy rather than a reviewer in his vids. As for Dmitry, it feels like he has actually used the product for some time before posting a review. Also, those cam shots are awesome!!

Yuvraj Anand Linus has really changed since back then. I don't really like how they are going to now. I really enjoy Linus videos back then , not so much now these days. But still Linus upload more videos than Dimitri. Some rather useful info ones too even still. But their reviewing videos isn't so good anymore.

Well, I believe in review less but review properly instead of going all insane on increasing counts of review. But still, I really like their TechQuickie channel. Dmitry posts less but i like his review...and that cool accent. LOL

I love it, reminds me of Cyrax from MK!
If i was going to buy this case, how many fans would I need to buy with it and what ones?
I prefer the full tower cases. Can get better cooling and it looks nice to. I like it when people say "wow its so big" :-). Sure it's not easy to transport, but that's what laptops are for.
Hey can anyone explain to my why I cant find this case in yellow anywhere? I can find white and black but no yellow.

Corsair 780t vs Phanteks Enthoo Luxe, which one is a better choise??
Bring back Low Pressure Zone for the background music. Miss it :/

WayStedYou loudDIFFERENCE The S340 is in house. Just waiting on our hardware to arrive so we can do a proper build and review the case. Stay tuned.
should i pick Corsair carbide 540 air or this 780T?
I've owned this case for about 3 years and at the end of the video you mentioned how you wished it was smaller and more "mid-tower" size. I disagree. I purchased the case for it's large size. If it was smaller I would have just purchased the 900D or another full tower. There are a lot of people out there who still require full towers. Good review though. Huge fan, Dimitri.
I can't remove the HDD bays. I want to remove the top one and unscrewed the 2 screws holding it to the bottom one. Does it slide or lift off? I've tried moving it but I won't budge
Corsair is the Alienware/Apple of case manufacturers. Yes, it looks great, and yes it's functional, but it's way overpriced and other, cheaper cases do it better. Who is the target market for this, other than fanboys and people who don't know about Phanteks?

The value of a case is what ever somebody is willing to pay for the case. I really like this case and would use it for a build, The price is irrelevant for me.

Who gives a shit about how much it costs?
can you move the drive cage back like in the 760t?
I think the window isn't revealing-enough (particularly compared to the 760T). I would have liked to see more of the top - where one might wanna put LED fans, rather than a portion of the drive cages. Also, while the FP controls do look nice, it's potentially hazardous, particularly if there are pets around (I have lots of cats and the top of the case is one of their most favourite places to sleep). And steep price :(
screws or rivits. for painting/modding use.
Could I use pwm fans that need a constant 12 volts (ml120/ml140) with the included fan controller in the case?
Its a very pretty PC case, especially considering its a full tower, but it remains elegant, more companies should follow suit and develop their cases with more rounded edges.
plz reply i am buying this can install msi 360 aio in it in front or top with ease?
i like the music in background, what is it ? :)
You've missed the cable holes for top fans...
hey where would i mount a cylinder res in this case?
does it have top dust filter please tell me it is very important.
is it safe if you put it on a carpet that is around 1cm high?
Where did you get your hands on the Yellow one ? I've been looking online and can't find it
Why did you not put the io shield on?
Hardware Canucks? I think it should be Hardware Cossacks! ... yes, mid tower with much better space management would be wonderful, as it is I'm still looking for my next case. Least I stopped to look so the Corsair has looks going for it.
So this case or the phanteks enthoo primo? 0.0
Lol I love this case but I can't help but see it as an oven door. Hope I don't end up putting my chicken in there. ;)
Best hardware canucks i have question about the drive cage. There are 2 drive cages at the front. But i see thats more room between the cage and the 5,25 bay. Will it fit also an 3rd drive cage between so you can create room maybe for 9 hard drive or ssd then its also great server case maybe?

I dont have to buy an other hdd i gona use 1 from my older case then. So that will work then also i hope
i wish they would do a mid tower version of this case in red... dont like full towers, i always thing they look stupid when you put all your stuff in there and theres still tons of empty space
i really hope they fix that ugly gap betwen the sidepanel and the lower part of the case , cuz it looks to ugly
I agree with guys the Air 540 is the best case I've ever owned.
In my opinion this is the best looking case since the Graphite 600T - which I own. But the 600T is starting to show it's age. Without heavy modification you can't do a push-pull 240mm radiator in the top of the case. Try as I may, I can't think of anything to do with the three empty optical bays. Finally the 600T sports a now useless Firewire port. Could you make this case less plastic? Sure, but it would be heavy and even more expensive. My 600T has the a plastic outer shell and I honestly never even think about it. When I walk into my office all I see is a great looking case. But the best feature of the 780T are the top and front fan.radiator mount locations and the removal of pointless metal mesh to quiet the airflow. I was just about to take a Dremel and cutting wheel to my 600T to remove the mesh, but instead I'll just upgrade to the 780T. Next year when I get that X99 motherboard I'm dreaming of, I'll be thankful I did.
full tower is the power, much more for ventilation, even if you use stock fans
would a Swiftech H240X fit in the case ?
