Awesome! Can't wait for the delivery of my Vertix! Your last review is what helped me to decide to go with the Vertix and now that they have this I think makes it a little more user friendly for some of us that may be a little more "seasoned" and would rather do things on a computer than on the phone/watch.

Thanks for the preview! I signed up for the beta about two hours after I got the email from Coros -- I'm sure that was probably too late. I will say that I'm super happy as a customer that bought my first dedicated run/gps watch (Pace 2) from Coros and didn't have any expectations or comparisons with the Garmin ecosystem. Now that I've owned it for over a year I really could not be happier with all the updates the watch has gotten and I'm super excited about the hub.

Coros upped their game. I ordered a Garmin 245 earlier but I canceled it and bought the Pace 2 because of the superior strength training features. Now they have this, so great news to be using the Coros ecosystem. The only drawback with Coros is their unwillingness to support non-Coros ANT+ footpods, so I cannot use the Pace 2 with my old Garmin ANT+ footpod on treadmills. I am therefore still using my old Garmin 310XT for indoor runs. Pls Coros, add support for non-Coros ANT+ footpods so I can use only the Pace 2 for everything.

As a guy who does a lot of weight training, metabolic conditioning and long distance running/rucking for the military which ecosystem is the most user friendly? I can’t seem to make up my mind between Coros Vertix 2, Polar Grit X Pro and Garmins Fenix 6 Pro. The polar recovery data seems impressive and easy to use, Garmin seems to be everyone’s favorite overall and Coros seems like a really cool new company to invest in. Any tips? Hard for me to tell what will work unless I could try all three 😂

They will all do the job. The edge that Garmin has is a bit more polished app/ecosystem as well as features like Body Battery and advanced training tools for running. I'd say you probably won't be disappointed with any of these options.

It's decent but not perfect. The Vertix 2 is a big watch so you'll need to make sure it's super tight on your wrist to prevent it from bouncing around which can lead to bad HR results.

Garmin still has an edge in terms of Connect since you can view all of your wellness data and body battery etc... as well as generate reports and export excel spreadsheets from your data. Lots of flexibility there, but COROS is definitely closing the gap. At this point it's a matter of preference.

Just got a garmin Fenix 6 about 6 months ago because of the maps and platform. Wishing I had held out for a coros now. Sounds like they have addressed both of my issues with this upgrade! Wonder how long my garmin will last.....🤔 Great video!

I'd say if maps were your priority the Fenix is still the winner. The COROS maps are nice but they're just a context basemap. Not routeable, no POI, no trail/road labels or markers, etc... The Fenix is on another level.

Ahah love when you said"it's a free upgrade , not a paid one or membership subscription" the only company who make that kind of things is stryd ,they sell the pod and if you want what all other companies offer for free you have to pay another 10 euros or dollars, depending where you live . Waiting for next Garmin watch if they release running power, goodbye stryd 😛 great video

The Stryd platform is a bit different in that they have adaptive training plans that are designed for your personal data. That's really what the subscription pays for. Other than that, this COROS training hub is pretty great.
