ONS found 91% of UK cases had at least 1 pre morbidity. Additionally, according to the NHS themselves, their critical care beds usually have around 800 occupancies. They currently have 2300 occupancies. A&E admittance is 33% lower. And, according to a Financial Times report, many hospitals are half empty. This is a nationwide security theatre performance to avoid pandemonium. Nothing more.

When the lockdown first began, we were told it was necessary so that the NHS could build capacity. We were told that the aim was to flatten the curve, so that the NHS wouldn't be overwhelmed. Since then, the NHS capacity has increased, the curve has flattened and the NHS hasn't been overwhelmed. In fact, many hospitals are less busy than normal. Domestic abuse is going unchallenged, cancer treatments have been suspended, people are dying of other diseases and conditions at home, because they're scared to contact the NHS. Businesses are failing, mental health problems are increasing and people have lost their jobs. Meanwhile, we're given statistics with no explanation or context and the term 'died after testing for corona virus' has been used to describe fatalities. No diagnosis of ACTUAL cause of death and no mention of the people who recovered with no medical intervention. How are we to know the truth?

There has been no real lockdown in the UK like in some other nations. People are traveling all over the place on a sunny day, visiting family and friends. Builders and decorators are working in people's houses. Workers on these building sites are mingling freely. Hotels are being renovated. Supermarket workers are in the same staff room having tea. People are walking their dogs 4 times a day, the list goes on.

This newsreader is doing a great job of explaining the data in a clear, concise manner. Quite impressive when contrasted with the sometimes confused explanations of data offered in daily briefings by Ministers/NHS officials.

Surely if everyone had masks (like in the 1918 pandemic) we could start opening up, since that would cut out transmission chains, hey?

Because they know that their nation we follow the rules and not spread the virus as much as the irresponsible people in the uk having outside and inside off large gathering from multiple house holds/house parties, driving half way accoss the country to go to the beach or to take the dog for a walk.Which is having now a huge impact on the NHS.

In my lovely country severely affected by this virus, when a parent of a poor family dies we say: SORROW and STENCH. Stench referring to financial hardships. It is a real pity witnessing how this local expression scales up to the whole World now.
