Why pray to marry when JESUS TELLS IM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE? MARRY IS GOOD PERSON BUT WHY PRAY TO HER WHEN YOU CAN PRAY TO JESUS CHRIST DIRECTLY.

Please Father encourage everyone in your parish go to daily mass for us because we cannot go to mass, even on Sundays. I am from Manila, Philippines and we are not allowed to go out. I think Singapore and other SE Asian countries also do not have masses. Initially I thought, "Saddest Lent ever!" then I realized we are with our Lord in the desert. The Lord is making us hungrier for Him by allowing us not to receive Him. And so I began to be happy again. That said, please do everything you can for us.

We need to recognize the humanity of people around the world. This is this generation’s first pandemic. I thank God for my parents and grandmother, who taught us canning, making do with the basics: flour, rice, baking soda, oil, dry beans, canned juice and powdered milk. Dried eggs, pasta, ramen, dried fruits and vegetables, nuts. Used to get K rations and jerky from the surplus store. More than all that, the Living Word of God. As long as we all pray for each other every night, we will be okay. Nineveh repented, so can us. Love is the greatest commandment.

I agree...those that are in fear have no faith in God. Jesus I trust in you. Ask God to forgive them for canceling Mass and not allowing us to receive the Eucharist.

Lincoln & Welland Regiment Well the rosary is composed of the prayer our Savior taught the disciples, the angelic salutation from the Gospel of Luke, and the prayer of the Seraphim from Ezekiel. All of these are said while we inwardly reflect on key theological points in the gospel. You should probably pray these prayers too, to soften that old, callous heart of yours.

How can you say that? Faith can help one “handle” the sickness and most of the time one will recover: however there will be a time when one succumbs to the sickness/disease and die and hopefully rise into eternal glory depending on how one has loved God and loved their neighbor. That’s the purpose of life, it’s relatively simple, yet chaotic at the same time depending on one’s situation to be born into. Peace and Health

Hmm...Once upon a time there was...a Catholic, who became a flawed 'catholic' by losing the gift of charity & ceased to be a member of the Church... Maybe you didn't hear about God a lot in the versions of your fairy tales...and not starting out your life a Hero...sadly, later betrayed the key teachings & values of the Faith. ? Not real big on suffering...? Making our way to our destination, all of us, from the atheist to the saint, are just pilgrims. We're travelers going from this world to the next. We sometimes get lost & take the long way, some days we may have no idea where were going. But the point is to keep moving, learning to understand, and to keep trying, knowing that the Lord never gives up on us. Blessings!

B D Amen! Preach! People need to know that no matter what, if you are in a crack house or no house, cheated on your spouse, fear of what is happening, you can pray. God doesn’t care who you are, if you are afraid or have relatives with the virus, you can lay your worries on God. He loves you, and cares about us, his children. Ask for peace of mind, to be forgiven of your faults and sins, in the name of his son Jesus, and he will begin to bless you. Start listening to EWTN, Old Billy Graham or Oral Roberts or TBN. Fathers and mothers, I know you are worried about finances, the future. Put your faith in God and ask for help to get your family through this. Sing the songs you learned in church, or play them on the piano. I love you all, and with God’s help we will get through this. If you need prayer. Catholics pray the Rosary, but there are good prayers at World Vision site, and you can google prayer. Fathers, now that this virus has brought your precious family together, pray the Lord’s Prayer as a family. You and your wife can pray before you sleep. It is guaranteed to bring you closer together.

Recently saw this on social media: 2Chronicles 7:13 "Suppose I close up the sky and there isn't any rain. Suppose I command locusts to eat up your crops. And I send a plague among my people. But they make themselves low in my sight. They pray and look to me. And they turn from their evil ways. Then I will listen to them from heaven. I will forgive their sin. And I will heal their land. After all, they are my people." There's hope! Let's pray and repent!

I see many leaders around the world having daily press conferences with a chief doctor by their side, not a priest, providing guidance in this crisis. We trust our scientists.

Best homily I've ever heard! And what a meaningful analogy this story brings! We must not have fear, instead have hope in Christ and the sacrifice He made for us!

Lord please save us from Corona virus

God wants us to amend our lives and this virus is a lesson for us to turn to the Lord and rely on His mercy.

Man has changed God's world so much to their liking . Looking at all the negativity in the world, Starting with number 1,2,3,4, Don't stop there 5,6,7,8 ... Honestly, What would God do?

Thank God the story took the turn that it did. Still, however, I’m in tears. Lord have mercy...

Now this is what is called living your faith and not just recite words of prayer out of tradition, AMEN.

And we tell it to the children abused by their fathers, mothers, uncles, teachers, politicians, lawyers, doctors, businessmen, councilors, and all other people who abuse children. Abuse is abuse and we do not stand for it nor do I think any of the other occupations where it has taken place stands for it, so maybe you should take it up with all them also since you seem so concerned. Randy Couch Actually, The Catholic Church was persecuted in the early part of this country. Since most of the immigrants were Protestant coming from Europe. And Sue is correct in saying that the Catholics ministered to Native Americans and helped them. Please read some actual history on these subjects if you are to comment instead of speculating the false narratives that media drive. Also I would suggest you read the history of Our Lady of Guadalupe and how over 10 million Mexican people converted over a span of 10 years from a life of worship of pagan gods which included thousand being murdered through human sacrifice to the false gods. Also ask yourself a question, who and what do you worship? Everyone worships something. Atheists mostly worship themselves and again I would ask, what do you get from that? Where is the fulfillment you long for? You will never find it in yourself or anything on earth cause you were created for God and friendship with Him. “My heart is restless till it rests in you Oh God” - St. Augustine. Randy Couch yes all can be saved and God gives Grace to all and a chance to be saved whether that’s at the end of your life when you die or during your life. I think that your idea is who God is is not correct. You like most people and even me at times see God as this old man judging and weighting our rights and wrongs and did we get it right or now and pick the right religion. That’s not at all the God of the Catholic Church. He is Love and a merciful Father more than a judge. Please watch one of Bishop Barrons videos on who God is. He explains much better than I ever could. Also stop trying to argue things about what Catholics did in the past. Yes they have made many errors, yes they had to kill to protect themselves and others. I don’t care. I don’t worship or follow people, I worship Jesus Christ and His Church he gave us which is flawed because it’s full of sinners like me who need saving. Yes our world is living right now with fear, but if we believe the Son of God gives us Eternal Life. Follow Him, then you die in Him and have nothing to Fear. Call on Him always, not just when there is a calamity, deceases, floods or drought etc. in and through Jesus dieting on the cross you are saved through His precious blood. Wake up people, Heaven to live with Him Eternally, Hell is too late, everlasting fire. Choose Him it’s not too late, believe & confess He is Lord. Praying for all those affected with the 🦠 also and the families of those who have lost loved ones. Prayers are powerful, each and everyday as part of a Christian life but for those who don’t, do it is a blessing to belong and know God is watching over His people each and everyday. Repent & Believe🙏🏾

I will still be joyfull and glad, because the LORD GOD is my SAVIOUR. 🙏🙏🙏
