Great unboxing video again. I think we forget that these toys were designed with little fingers in mind - not our hardened adult ones! It's worth checking the sliding rear seat is present in the E-type. It was missing in my first one which the CMC replaced. I have one of their original run of 5000 which I'm happy with. They tweaked the colour a bit for later issues. The back IS a modified DB4 as per the original..So only one fuel filler cap.

Thanks Andrew, great info, my E-type has the sliding rear seat. Here's hoping for more TV and film releases soon👍
I got the last release, with the rotating number plates (which didn't come with 261). This version was actually a DB4 so I hope they used it instead of a DB5.

OMG am I a total numpty or what!.. I've not opened my Corgi Model Club E.Type because I thought it would destroy the packaging to do so... I didn't realise you could slide it out as you did. Thanks for the help.... I'm feeling rather silly now. 🤣🤣

My uncle has a real-life E-type Jag in the mid-70s, I was terribly jealous. So was someone else, who keyed it in the car park at Shearwater.

@@JulesBurt Yes, his was British Racing Green as well, what a treat to ride in as a boy. He's the only person I knew with driving gloves :)

Best way to keep them mint and also play with them is to get two. I still have my Corgi Blakes 7 Liberator in its card/blister pack from 1978, and played with my brother's one which got a bit battered shoved in the "toy drawer" with all his cars!

Great models . How meny of those passangers were lost in play . Hence the extra . I would love to see more screen cars . Movies and TV . But lets not go too far down that road . Thanks for the show and tell .

They have just this week made them available to Europe, hopefully USA won't be far behind👍
I think collectors call it 'box rub' (on the roof.) The car rubs against the cardboard in transit etc. I keep mine wrapped in tissue inside the box.

Hi Jules. Every video on CMC unboxing, I admire your display cabinet, and was wondering a) where you got it, and b) how you manage to build up the height of the display.? I really need to get much better shelving than my ever growing collection of CMC models is currently displayed in!

Hi there, the cabinet came from IKEA, it's pretty standard but does the job and not expensive. I use plastic risers to get the height, these were bought off Amazon, link here....amzn.to/3DfmK8d Hope that helps🙂

Just in my normal subscription a few months back. I think there might be up to three versions but this is the latest.
