Corbina Feeding In The Surf - Drone Footage

I took this video in no more than 1 foot of water as I was able to capture the feeding habits and behaviors of California Corbina when they’re cruising the shallows in search of sand crabs.
The habits and tendencies shown in this drone footage of corbina is natural and this occurs very frequently in So Cal’s surf.
This is the low resolution footage I received from my DJI app as before I was able to bring my drone back home, I spotted a GW further out and while I thought I had enough battery to make it back, it forced a landing in the middle of the water. Unfortunately I’ll never see that drone again and I’ll never have the high res footage. I am purchasing another to get more content like this out there. Gets me lathered up. Great video to study their behavior as well to show off how graceful and perfectly apt to their environment they are. You understand how their body shape and oversized pectoral fins , make such a worthy sportfish in the surf.

This footage is 100% SUPERB! Not only does it capture Corbina, but at one point, you can get a glimpse at what appear to be a school of YellowFin Croakers or Perch (lower left side or screen at 10:25). More importantly, you can plainly see the "structure" and how the waves (or lack thereof) react by not breaking with the deeper water. I think THIS is the perfect training video which can be shown in combination with a view from the shore. To the untrained eye, properly identifying the areas with a higher potential for fish can be a daunting task. This video just helped me tremendously! Great job!

My gosh! I never noticed that school of yellows (or perch). I really wish I had the high res version of this vid. I’ll have to get another I guess🤷♂️

Thanks! I’m not sure of the legalities there and you’d need a very strong drone. I wouldn’t really be interested as that’d be overkill in my mind lol.
