I’ve learned that the hard way. For a while I threw a key down when the front door was closed so I didn't have to go downstairs. Inadvertently, a simple beard key to the apartment was also included. An acquaintance who worked in metal used exactly this technique to create a double. I found that I was missing more money and medicine than I thought I would need. So I took stock and observed, a little later I could say with certainty that someone next to me was using my supplies, but how? The second key was obvious, but how and when? The old apartment lock made it possible to see from the outside whether a key was in, since I always left it in, I wasn't at home when the key was in. So I placed a video camera and left the apartment at the expected time. When I came back after lunch something was missing again and I looked at the recording. The surprise was significant when I saw a familiar face and it all fell into place. The next day I took out the key and lay down quietly so as not to give the idiot a hint. I didn't have to wait long before I heard the key turn, I let Inman come in so as not to confront him under the door. When he was already on the way to the living room, I spoke to him, wincing from the shock, he stammered something about a mistake, which caused me to smack him violently. It's a mystery to me why he was so surprised, I had to hold myself back not to punch him in the eye immediately. After further blows, he gave up his stammering and was directed into the living room, where I began to question him. He had been doing this for quite a while, I defensively tallied it up and suggested a plan for repaying the $1200. After he had paid almost half, I heard nothing more from him. I found out later that when he tried to flee from his grandmother's home during the burglary, he jumped about 10 meters from the balcony and seriously injured himself. Also possible that it was a suicide attempt, it's embarrassing enough on his. to break into grandmother. I heard that he lives in another canton in the countryside in a therapy group...🪬🇨🇭 🍄

Imagine a spy movie but they only have master Locks, it would end in like 2 mins lmao
@B3RyL7 ай бұрын
For simple locks you can trace the imprint on the lid of a tin can and cut out a copy of the key using sharp scissors. It's not going to hold up for multiple use, but if you're just trying to get in and out it'll do the job.

I can't remember whose channel it was but I remember another lock picker talking to Old locksmith who used to work for the CIA. He said they didn't even need access to the key just the lock itself and they can use a blank to make a copy. The guy told the story about how he just walked up to a door, put the blank the lock turned it a little bit then left to file it down then just kept going back and forth between where he was doing the work and the building he was trying to get into.

Just take a Lock Picking Lawyer with you and forget all that stuff.

@@RealityWrecker Because u don't want them to know it's missing ? This way u just need to snatch it for like 5 sec before taking it out of the clay thing. Duh
imagine being a spy and doing all this and then when you get to the door its not even locked

Or worse, you accidentally lock it and you cant grip the key now, because the metal melts and it happens to be summer. Now neither you or the actual key holder can open the door now.
Imagine a spy movie but they only have master Locks, it would end in like 2 mins lmao
For simple locks you can trace the imprint on the lid of a tin can and cut out a copy of the key using sharp scissors. It's not going to hold up for multiple use, but if you're just trying to get in and out it'll do the job.

First scene that came to mind was that exact scene from Day of the Jackal you used.
People have been doing this for years my grandma warned me about this when I was a kid. Back in the 80’s

well keys are older than that so they've been doing it for longer and he's not saying it's new he's just teaching you how to do it ;also the movie he used as an example is from like 1978

@@kaylasilverfox473 Really? it looked more like a 60s film to me.
I made a copy of a key with one side plasticine imprint just with a piece of steel, a dremel and a firm eye. And it worked. Was tight to insert but worked from first attempt.
Anyone else that got reminded of Night at the Museum by this? Cause that was my biggest question growing up

“Congratulations you’re now a spy!” Me already at my crush’s house:
I remember wondering what that was when I was younger watching Night at the Museum. As I got older I learned and forgot about the movie entirely. This video just made it pop back up😂
So the escapists got it quite accurately
Me:*Takes a screenshot and goes to my friend's place where she has a 3d printer*
I took my key to Walmart and they made one for under $4. Much easier 😊
Dude’s teaching locksmith lessons and ending up getting his own house robbed😂😂😂😂😂😂
