Cops illegally raided his house. This is what happened with he fought back

An Indiana SWAT team burst into the home of Chris Reiter under false pretenses. He sued police for severely injuring his girlfriend and violating his constitutional rights. But his battle to hold police accountable for their actions has led to allegations of retaliation.

For the love of GOD!!! Stop telling me what you're about to tell me about... Just get on with it already! This is ridiculous. You use way too many transition statements. The writing and narration is absolutely pitiful. Awful! Watching these videos is downright painful because of how awful the script writer is.. The script is just pure junk, every 10 seconds there's a transition statement (I.e. 'for example, 'In just a minute, 'however, 'but first let me tell you about this) And that's just a few of the absolutely asinine transition statements this writer constantly uses. It makes watching the video miserable and boring. You wind up just talking yourself into a loop and never actually getting to the point that you're telling us about and leading to. It's awful! Stop it!

You have no clue whether the person kicking down your door and waving guns around is actually police or a gang of home invaders with loud voices and perhaps some readily available costumes. I think anyone serving a no knock warrant should waive any right to self defense until such time as they've shown the warrant and positive ID. Nor should anyone defending their home be denied a self defense claim. In fact it should be presumptive of self defense on the home/business owners part.

@@kaseyboles30and it’s all over the chance to catch some coke dealers before they flush evidence. I’d rather let some drug dealers or users get away than allow cops to act like the military and give them access to my home. Those warrants are signed almost automatically. It’s scary af. I’ve been a drug user in the past. I’ve gotten to know many dealers and got to know a lot of cops when my husband was in the military. with that experience, I trust the dealers with my safety over the cops every day. I’d rather get some shit stolen by users than have my home gassed and ruined to the point of needing to be torn down. Dealers are trying to make ends meet, often while working a job because the job just doesn’t pay enough. Users are just trying to get by, drugs become another thing to worry about next to food, water a d shelter and usually were born with some imbalance in their brain or went through trauma bad enough for some to unalive themselves and drugs were the only alternative to suicidal actions. Both of those types are just trying to survive in a cruel world that only cares about those with money or nepo babies. (not including cartels or large gangs here) and even as a woman I never felt unsafe. the other side, Cops are out to assert control and make sure the population is submissive. That is far more likely to lead to fatal actions. Even with years in recovery, after seeing how nasty cops can be to people over nothing, I still fear cops more than anyone. And they have made me fear for my life just as a bystander.

we had this happen to my family. We witnessed a serious car accident. The police asked for tips on TV. We called and said we saw the whole thing. state troopers showed up and first thing they did was ask for ID. They ran us and then conducted a search of our house even went thru our bedroom dressers. We were like what the hell and he said he needed to know what kind of people we were. He then ran our license plates on both our cars and then knocked on the neighbors doors to ask what kind of people we were. While this was going on a friend who lives next door came over to see why the cops were there and he was ID'd and threatened by the cop for obstruction and told to leave. They asked us what we saw and then asked us if we were anti cop. They were at our house for about 2 hours. We were dumbfounded. About two days later another cop called and wanted to know our side of the story about the accident. We said we already told the other cops. He said no other cop is investigating the accident just him and he did not speak to us. We told him about the other cop and said we were either lying or making it up. We got subpoenaed for court and that is when we found out the guy who caused the accident was a state trooper. When leaving court another trooper advised us to be "careful". It was an obvious threat.

I agree, yet many feel that way until the cops begin a harassment agenda against them; until they experience a highly organized intimidation campaign, &/or a name smearing plot -within ur own community... -they may then, lose stride & unfortunately change "sides." Those same friends, family, supporters, can/will often be eventually forced/coerced, into now being against you now- as well. Somehow the ones u considered allies at one point, have suddenly become distant... 'Quieted & Disassociated' from you or ur cause! They've suddenly lost the passion which initiated the entire "Caring" attitudes, they once exuded on ur behalf; now it's merely replaced by fear & confusion... disgust? A script even? Oh & lest not forget, they now are reinforced to stay that way, with "little favors," & "random acts of kindness." As forms of compensation from that same evil agency, u both started off exposing! Though no one will ever admit it, this is practically how they persuade the majority onto their side. Evil isnt always just committing the misdeed itself, but in also remaining ignorant to it. Esp willfully!

These officers are fuel in the get rid of qualified immunity fire, but really police that go this off the deep end, should be removed from the union, or else they jeopardize the integrity of the police union itself. The police unions need to realize that if they don't adequately police their own, the whole bunch are at risk because of the bad apples. If people want to abolish qualified immunity, they MUST realize that the union (To be abolished legislatively by the voters) is next on the docket if asshole cops keep this up unchecked. If "defund" the police doesn't work, it's dismantle those things which give them unchecked power. Threaten the pension. Threaten the union. Threaten the qualified immunity, until they fix this bullshit.

Thank you Taya for advocating just law enforcement. Part of the problem with justification is that almost all citizens do no have body cameras and a lot of the illegal activities by law enforcement happens after you are detained and all of your possessions are taken including your phone so can no longer take video of the officers misconduct, and the officers turn off their body cams almost immediately after an arrest. Once arrested there is no camera footage of what the cops do or say in the patrol car, or at the police station so as to further conceal their illegal activities.

Let that sink in and once it was disclosed that they messed up and hit the wrong house and damaged her back they put their crosshairs on both of them to try to make it look like these guys were bad guys … when the facts are they did nothing wrong. The police were the criminals in this case. As in money cases, they are the criminals. I’ll let the evidence speak for itself I’ve been watching this for years how they’ve been attacking Tiffany and Chris for exposing them and the judges and the jailers involved in police activity and corruption that they haveup rooted.

Thank you for exposing the bully tactics of bad cops. I was a police officer at one time and I was appalled by the number of bully cops I worked with. I worked with many good cops that showed respect to citizens but also worked with a few cocky, low integrity officers that made life miserable for citizens and fellow officers alike. I noticed that the crooked officers stuck together and usually had the support of police department leadership. Again I thank you for exposing the over escalation of force when it is not needed.

HE Became one of those "DICKHEAD, DOUCHE BAG Cops" like THESE Fucking Ass-Holes are! My cousin and I USED to be close... NOW He thinks he's "MR. Was arrested in my home for telling a drunken, meth addicted, 4 warrant criminal that he had to leave, because this criminal was shooting in my home through a locked bedroom door. I called police the day before I was arrested and request to they remove him. The police told me they needed a warrant to remove the criminal. I was in another town when one of my tenants advised me the criminal was shooting in my home. I gave police more than 24 hours, but the cops did nothing. So when I returned to my home I encountered barricades, destruction and noticed my things were missing. I grabbed a single shot 12 g and went to confront this armed, drunken criminal. I held the gun down and asked him to leave. He then charged at me and pulled the shot gun out of my hands, but the gun discharged and hit a wall. Well police arrested me and held me in prison for over a year, delaying my trial as long as this PA District Attorney could. They accused me of Attempted Murder. In my home? And no one was hit by the shot gun discharge. But that isn't the end. After the cops allowed this criminal to live in my home, while I was being held in jail. He stole everything I owned, committed Real Estate fraud renting to people and destroyed my property.
