Did you have to lift the hair because it was so dark and the rest was many shades lighter? Would you get a similar result if you used a permanent color with a higher developer on the growth since it was virgin? Or would it have looked uneven? I always struggle with figuring out if I should lighten or use perm with higher developer first

Thank you. Deciding on using color with a high developer or lightener depends on the desired and canvas levels. So in this case because her natural is darker lightening would be best also she has previous color from another stylist too. So using lightener will help to make sure there wasn’t any banding because we know color can’t lift color.
@Lemandi Salon. I have a question? Did you custom make the color or did you use a particular brand? I'm asking because my stylist/colorist is having a problem finding this copper color. She used to use Matrix, but she said they discontinued that color.

Yes I did. This is Pravana brand. The colors I used is the video but I also intensified it with the Pravana Vivids in Orange.

What color did you use for this. It's the exact color I want my hair is exactly like hers. Same grow out and everything

I used Pravana. The exact color is listed in the video. I also used Pravana Vivids in orange to intensify the copper.
