I cooked in this pan for first time and i was impressed. It holds more than it looks and heats fast and distribs it to the sides, doesn't get excessively hot over the disc. Clean up was simple after simmering cutlets in jar of red peper alfredo sauce for 2 hours at 220 degrees.

I have this pan and the Deep square one as well.. If you get a hump in the middle.. It could be you didn't let the pan cool before cleaning.. I don't have a hump. I cooked a Boneless Prime Rib tonight in my deep pan, and it came out amazing.. No oil of any kind used.. Just heated up the pan and laid the steak in the pan.. cooked on Med High for 3 minutes on each side.. then in a 400 degree oven for 5 minutes.. Perfect.. These pans can withstand 800 degree ovens.. mine only goes up to 500.. They will scrape easy if you use metal tools.. so don't.. I am so happy with my pans.. Thanks for your review.. Oh I get 4 pieces of bacon in my pan... they shrink.. lol

David Lemon you are correct about submerging ANY pan in water right after using it and while still hot. Worst thing you can do to a pan.

Ive used one of these for several months now and used it a lot . After a couple weeks of use it lost its nonstick ability . i use butter or cooking spray now with it and it does a good job . It is a sturdy pan with a nice solid handle . And I like the square shape .

Get yourself a cast iron skillet, season it well, use it for a year, and you''l have an indestructable pan you can use forever

Because of the fat from the bacon and a little from the hash brown technically your pan was oiled. Since you only wiped it with paper. I wonder if the result would have been different if you fried the egg first. Just a thought.

I just got mine too, so I thought I would check out a few videos of people cooking food in it and maybe read a few comments. Mine is the 12 inch skillet pan and was a gift from a friend that purchased it at Walmart for $24.88. He gave me the receipt because it says lifetime warranty. Like any items I have read good and bad about it so I will post again after i cook a few times in it and let everyone know how it cooks.

It specifically says if you use oil you need to use peanut oil, or another that is for high heat. I just got avocado oil - good for high heat.

I ise my pans with glass top induction burner and do not season them ever. I just simply wash them when I buy them and go start cooking. i have not has any problems in a year of using these pans. Also, don't EVER submerge a pan in water after cooking with it. Always let it sit and cool first and you won't get "humps" or warped pan bottoms. And don't use metal spatulas in these pans!

Thanks Randy Locrotondo, the key to these pans is following the instructions, and if you don't like to read then expect things to go wrong. So let's read instructions for pans or what ever we do..Just follow the instructions , Still using my pans and enjoying them. Heck it even cut down on my electric bill..

ANY frying pan needs to be "seasoned". Use a light coating of vegetable oil on the entire inside of the pan. Preheat your oven to 350* and put the pan in it when it reaches 350*. Leave for 20 minutes. Take it out and allow to cool naturally. Then wipe out any excess oil with a paper towel. DO NOT WASH IT! ALWAYS heat the pan, before frying something, for at least 2 minutes. Allow to cool completely before washing. Use utensils that won't scratch it. You can get the complete instructions on Do's and Don'ts from Copper Chef if you write them an email. Hope this helped!

All these work great new and only let you down over time. I've given up on these "non Stick" that start failing in 1 - 2 years-- I went to Carbon Steel-- after seasoning it only get better over time. Also carbon steel pans thick and stays flat -- no warping.-- Carbon steel will last a life time.

I've tried the Gotham pan, and Red Copper. Both took a dump in under 6 months even being seasoned. The lifetime warranty is a joke. They want me to mail it back (15 bucks, PLUS $9.95 for their shipping. I can purchase it cheaper than that new in any local store.

This pan sucks. The eggs run off to the corners so you wind up with a thin mess. Goos no stick property but if you're trying to sear anything forget it. Good for pancakes, bad for eggs
