Cop Tried to Get Hitman to Kill Husband: Prosecutors

The officers who arrived at the Suffolk County home of Valerie Cincinelli in 2019 were there to share devastating news with the then-NYPD officer: her estranged husband and the father of her child was dead. But prosecutors said it was all an act. Cincinelli wasn't surprised to hear her husband was dead because she orchestrated a chilling murder-for-hire plot to kill him. And the police's arrival at Cincinelli's doorstep wasn't really on the heels of his death, but instead part of a sting operation.

It really sucks but I don't blame the prosecution for accepting a plea deal because it might've been really hard to prove the charges. Sounds like they wouldn't have that much to go on since a hitman was never really contracted and money never actually exchanged hands. At least they got her with something which will get her off the police force. I've seen another case where the prosecution was too zealous and wouldn't accept a manslaughter 15 year plea and pushed for murder charges but didn't have enough evidence and the person got acquitted with zero repercussions.

I would have thought that when she offered 7thousand dollars to make the hit, that would have been enough to charge her, the anger in her voice trying to get the boyfriend to delete the messages and staging the crime scene would have been additional evidence. Thank you for responding and leaving examples of what could have been the outcome. I'm thinking about real situations that the wife wanted her husband dead, and she turned over a deposit and the rest would come about after the proof that he was dead. I don't know when it was, but she said she knew 5,000% that is what was wanted. When she came home after being at the gym, police cars were everywhere, lights flashing, crime scene tape, and was hysterically crying, wanting to be comforted by an officer. Then when taken to the police station and discovered that her husband was still alive, she tried begging him to go to her. Thank you for reminding me what evidence was needed to take her down, but didn't have it. I'm glad she's no longer The Police. Very much appreciated your response.

Who can give him the security feeling of going around and interacting with others, without having this horrible experience present, everyda ?? May God help him recover and find the support of community and friends and above all, that he can heal, emotionally. This is a deep wound; some people might not see it that way, but i believe it is. That woman is like a horrible demon. 😡😡
