A typical treatment consists of a combination of Corrosion Inhibitor , Scale Inhibitor and a Biocide program . However the dosages and formulations depends on the make up water quality , site environment and issues currently faced. You can picture this like a doctor treating a patient , there would be some essential chemicals and some based on need such as antifoulants , Oil dispersants specifically designed biocide to tackle a particular large species of bacteria or microbes. To summarise no 2 cooling water treatment can be same , they are tailor made to address issues at hand.
