Thank you for sharing this interesting and educational video with us. What a nice looking radio. Why can't they make stylish looking radios like that today?

Most Excellent! Thanks for sharing! Wow, that's a trip man 🤣 This take me back to the 1980s when I repaired a few Nordmende Colour TV's. They were extremely reliable back in the day, so it made a nice change to take look at them when they did turn up. I must have repaired hundreds of Nordmende VHS machines back in the day, since they were just JVC's with different front and badge and I worked for the main dealer of Nordmende and almost every brand you can think of down here in the Portsmouth area....

The groovy styling is so typical of Murphy, would have looked great next to my Murphy acoustic deluxe 22" colour TV. with it's bright orange cabinet & chrome swivel stand 😁 These are very rare sets & no doubt pretty valuable.

Yes it was outrageous orange, Murphy also produced them in blue, green & white as well as in teak, I still think they were such a stylish design & had a great picture & sound. @@michaeldranfield7140

The late 60's and 70's had a lot of lifestyle products in various shades of colours. For a while the round bright orange TV's were popular, they also made them in white which turned a cream/yellow colour as they aged. Happier times from a TV repair shop, sadly most have now closed.

Sold under the Murphy brand but most who had them back in the day, were probably unaware of the build quality of Nordemende. Excellent quality just like the Grundig brand of the 60s and 70s.
