There's something I noticed for a while that I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned before. I'm almost certain that that woman at the school is the original Momma Cat. Listen to the original Momma Cat and this woman, they really do sound alike (I know in the credits there were two different names for both characters, but given what Jason Johnson said on the Media Bros podcast about Daddy Derek making up credit names, I think he might've just done that). Surprised he didn't find a way to remove her from the scene in this version. Also, I noticed the black guy in that scene is the guy from the crazy dream video (YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHIN' X5).

Great video! First time I got to see myself play in some of those scenes. Plus that is me in the Momma Cat costume on the couch. That’s why the legs of the of Momma Cat were shaking with discomfort. Mr. Savage never gave me a copy of kids superhero.

Daddy Derek also posed for Playgirl Magazine in the 80s probably to get laid as well but unfortunately did not on account for the fact that most readers of that magazine were gay men and not women as the magazine wanted you to believe.

South Park said it VERY well in their episode "Breast Cancer Show Ever." Principal Victoria (a breast cancer survivor) tells Wendy (who's been antagonized by Cartman in this episode for attempts to raise breast cancer awareness) that "You have to be willing to GIVE UP everything, because the cancer will TAKE everything. It doesn't matter if you beat it or not. You REFUSE to let that fat little lump make YOU feel powerless." Then despite the threats of getting in trouble that Cartman's been throwing at her all this time, Wendy proceeds to beat the ever-loving S*** out of him. SUCH a satisfying episode. ^_^

I got bullied till I started fighting back. After a long series of bullying (sometimes physical) I would eventually snap. I would then beat up the main bully completely on a tantrum. It felt like I was taken over and that my perception was blurred. It happened front of other bullies and then everyone just stopped bullying. Happened several times eventually. Got send to a psychiatrist for 2 year. Got diagnosed on almost every mental illness, came out negative every single time. Then they just let me go. Waste of their time and mine. The bullies were the ones that needed that seat. Met some nice kids while I was in treatment, common problem was we were all being bullied for some reason. One even got diagnosed with ptsd because of this.

If I had a child who was an aspiring actor and received a casting call from a guy who calls himself "Daddy Derek" I think I'd probably hit the block button and ask no further questions

To be fair, parents are supposed to discipline their kids so they can learn that there are consequences for their actions. What form that discipline takes can differ, of course.

Cool Cat is like The Room of kids movies: a hilariously so bad, it's good masterpiece that has become a meme in itself from the lines/dialogue to the fair use/copyright controversy.

If Derek keeps updating this movie, we’re going to get a cut and Butch the bully is going to be an adult.

Cybthia Rothrock us too good for this movie. Even for a simple dub job.

5:35. Ahhhh... it's been a long while since I last heard that soothing sound. A voice you can easily fall asleep to if he read you a story, like "Trolly the Trout Finds a Gun". That's a real book by the way.

That single frame of Amazing Fantasy #15 (Autographed by you know who) has given me far more respect for you as a creator. Not that you need memorabilia to be a true fan, but having it given you and edge.

This is by far your funniest reviews, Bobsheaux. I had to pause the video a couple of times because I was laughing so hard

Just a quick note, my friend bought me Cool Cat Saves the Kids for my birthday as a joke 2 years ago. However, I noticed it was different from the one that reviewers, like you, reviewed. It had some of the changes you listed here, like the man walking in and out of his house being gone and Butch watching the parade in envy. So...I guess he released a second version of Cool Cat without telling anyone? I’m not sure. But here it is for anyone interested.

Butch the butcher bully is my favourite character. Hes so over the top that it genuenly makes me laugh.

It’s massive disappointment that Daddy Derek is too unhinged, I love the reviews/reaction videos. If he embraced the Ed wood of it all, he could get rich off dvds, merch and live shows.

@@Bobsheauxjust replace Arthur Fleck with Daddy Derek and then he becomes Cool Cat or just make Arthur Fleck Cool Cat in general and then when he goes on the Murray Franklin show, he talks about the Wall Street guys and saying they where bullies and then instead of singing "Send in the Clowns", they sing "What's New Pusstcat" and of course Penny Fleck is Mama Cat. So yeah, just make Arthur Fleck Cool Cat all the way through.

It’s been 84 years since I last saw him...

im more surprised these "street smart for kids" videos/films are still made! these were the kind of things 90s kids grew seeing in elementary school! so its quite interesting seeing these type of things in the 2010s!(almost 2020s) and they are just as cheesy as they were then! but hey thats what makes these so damn entertaining and funny! :D
