The term "World Capital Germania" is used today in the course of re-education as a term for the planned implementation of the "Overall construction plan for the Reich capital Berlin". According to the plans of Adolf Hitler and his architect Albert Speer, the imperial capital Berlin was to be massively expanded and beautified in the middle of the 20th century. The term “World Capital Germania” did not come from the National Socialists themselves, as is generally assumed today. Neither Speer nor Hitler ever used the term. It was only thought up by an editor in 1969 for the blurb of a book. To this day, the false term persists. [1] The term was introduced in the blurb of the book "Memories of Albert Speer" by the Propylaen Verlag. The legend arose that Albert Speer was entrusted with planning a "world capital Germania". In the blurb it says literally: "It is the life story of a man who was associated with Hitler in unique and contradicting positions for twelve years: as the architect of the world capital Germania, as a friend of late-night round tables in the Reich Chancellery and at the Berghof, as a technocrat and organizer of a marveled armament miracle and finally as an unexpected one and effective adversary. " This created a striking brand name in 1969 - the world capital Germania. The name is already a kind of historical falsification, as it (again) assumes a German urge for world domination that did not exist. Few people know the true origin of this name. However, the official historiography maintains that Berlin should be made the "NS world capital". Hitler used the individual term “world capital”, but this was primarily meant in a cultural sense, whereby the plan was to make Berlin the leading “capital of the world” [2] and thus other important metropolises through a huge architectural and artistic building program to be surpassed. [3] However, today's propaganda regularly describes these ambitious plans as "megalomaniac".

Just like the term ‘world capital’ is an exaggerated, falsified, re-writing of history, the exact same goes for the term ‘master race’... was never used by Hitler or any members of the NSDAP. Obviously this video has nothing to do with that subject. But this knowledge needs to be spread, we need to do away with the classic ‘Hollywood’ outlook when it comes to this era.

While they didn't seek to actually conquer the entire planet by military force (because they were evil, not retarded, and those two are not always teh same), they DEFINITELY meant to dominate the global stage, setting Germany up as the undisputed global superpower.

Or the Berlin - Germania would be even more biger without this center of Hitler-Speer architectory works. Much bigger Berlin. Its only sad, that they didnt dream about making this masterpiece into another place near the historical centrum of old Berlin. So it will be fine. Future belongs to less roads for cars in historical centres of old towns. And there will be 3 parts of alternative modern Berlin-Germania: Historical centrum of old Berlin Speer-Hitler Germania buildings New Berlin, with less old buildings and architecture. It would be very Great. Nice greetings from Bohemian Kingdom, Sudetia-Sudetenland.

I'll be honest. I don't like this megalomania. Yes, and there are engineering problems, with the construction of this. But modern Berlin with social realism (although I am a communist myself, LOL) postmodernism in architecture made Berlin an ugly city. The bombing must be carried out again.

I share your point of view. The lack of own inspiration is truly outstanding. It really looks like a supersized 18-19 century capital. A mere gigantic ersatz of Vienna/Roma or Paris. I really hope that the germans are getting out of this useless vision and create a path of their own. They deserve it indeed.
