The Volkshalle has always fascinated me. If it was built, it would definitively be among one of the great wonders in the world. And i bet it would be the biggest dome structure in the world by a longshot. I'm not even sure if it would be possible to construct.

Just like the term ‘world capital’ is an exaggerated, falsified, re-writing of history, the exact same goes for the term ‘master race’... was never used by Hitler or any members of the NSDAP. Obviously this video has nothing to do with that subject. But this knowledge needs to be spread, we need to do away with the classic ‘Hollywood’ outlook when it comes to this era.

IMagine denying that the Nazis sought to dominate the world.... While they didn't seek to actually conquer the entire planet by military force (because they were evil, not retarded, and those two are not always teh same), they DEFINITELY meant to dominate the global stage, setting Germany up as the undisputed global superpower.

Germania is the definition of an architect's dream, and an engineer's nightmare, keep in mind, Berlin is marshland, and thus to support all of this weight and prevent it sinking would've been a logistical nightmare.

Well, there are plans and models that were designed by Albert Speer and Adolf Hitler. You can read about it on Wikipedia, unfortunately though, documentaries are rare and the article is rather short. I remember watching the documentary: "Brutalität in Stein - by SpiegelTV" like 10 years ago. Maybe you are able to find it in English somewhere.
