Pad see ew sauce
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tsp thick soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp water
In a bowl, mix the sauce ingredients together.
In another bowl, Marinate 1/4 lb of sliced protein with 2 tbsps of the sauce and 1 clove garlic, set aside for 10-15 minutes.
In a large wok, heat up the oil until smoking. Add the meat and cook until almost done. Add 2-3 cups of veggies (I used baby broccoli and bok choy) and cook until any liquid has evaporated. Add 1 egg at the bottom and scramble with the meat and veggies. Toss in about 3 cups or 1/4 lb of noodles. You can use fresh or dried here (cook it through first until al dente), eyeball depending on your preference. Toss with the sauce and mix mix mix until done!

After this part of the video, all I could think was... Her english sounds pretty damn amazing but she cannot say Ketchup Mayonnaise??... Half way through the video I went back to watch/listen again and I was still puzzled AF. So I came to look at the comments and I read this, so what is Kicap Manis???

I was actually thinking of making this! Thanks for the video!!
love this ! being thai, pad see ew is a staple in this house but my mom’s never added bokchoy before , it looks super yummy though ! and instead of adding vinegar to the sauce for cooking my family always serves pad see ew with optional vinegar and thai chili powder at the table to adjust for each person. almost like how you add the chili onion crunch ~
O I can’t wait to make this!! Thank you! 😍
Thank you for introducing me to a completely new recipe, and this one is right up my alley! It looks like a super nutritional meal to break fasting - it's on the list in my household!
That looks so amazing! My mouth is watering 🤤
I was craving Thai food today so I will def be making this. I hope it comes out delicious.

Love your skills in your kitchen
I can't wait to try making this! My daughter is having her first baby in November and I plan on making a zillion of your recipes for them when I'm staying at her house once the baby comes!
Hi ! I'm a big fan of you !! 😙 I'm Thai and I wanna confirm that your "ผัดซีอิ๊ว" (pad-see-ew in Thai) is totally amazing !! 😀😀
I made this (with the rice vinegar) and I hid the leftovers so my husband couldn’t have anymore. This was perfect! I’ll be making this more often. Also went to Trader Joe’s and got two of the chili onion crunch. Totally worth it!

Awesome video today. Looks really yummy.
Looks delicious!
Soo yummy I miss my mom dish. I recommend starting with cooking sauce with rice noodle first and let take a side 😀 then cook meat ,sauce and kale (super recommend !) then add cooked noodle to mix 😚
Craving this!
Your cooking looks so delicious. Thank you for sharing. Where can I buy the rice noodles
It's so helpful that you listed the items you use. I don't think I saw anything about your wok. I've been wanting to buy one but not sure what specifications I should look for when deciding which one would be best. Do you have any recommendations? Where is the one you used in this video from?
So Hungry now, can’t wait to try this out 🤤
Looking fabulous 👍🏻👏🏻
Omg I didn’t know that’s what those noodles were called!!! I’m so happy I found your channel!!!😍😍 now I can relate to all the foods I like and how to make them 🥰

Yummmm! One of my faves
Great Video😇Txu for sharing👏🏼👏🏼
Hey, any woks you can recommend? Nothing super flashy, but I would prefer something not coated with a non stick surface...? Btw this looks bomb, I’ve always been too chicken to try making my own pad but this looks easy enough 😍
Can't wait to try this...even though the metal spoon to metal wok scraping sound was super intense for me lol...

MY FAVORITE noodles!!! Yum!!! I wanna try. :)
I've wondered for YEARS about the thick noodles at thai restaurants. Now I know to look for a block! Can you usually find them at most grocery stores or do you go somewhere specific for them? (Gonna check Sprouts the next time I go!)
You look so good!
Where did you get such rice noodle? I can't find that in any Asian markets.
manis is pronounced mah-nees. Loved the video and can’t wait to try it :)
I sometimes find that a firm spatula or flat slice works best against the wok? Any tool recos for other pans?
Soooooo talented! Wish i was talented
Amazing!!!!!!!
Do you have any online places where you can get asian ingredients that are good quality online. As someone who loves making asian food it’s really hard to find them near me, ie im lazy to go shopping. Love your dishes so much thank you for this one, I LOVE PAD SEE EW!❤️
Yay! Thank you for showing some love to my country. Any Thai fans here?
I make this dish I learned from a great Thai restaurant in San Diego a long time ago love more then Pai Thai , most people don’t know about this noodle Thai dish most ordered Pai Thai . But this is great Thai noodle dish . There’s a Thai CTK (Charm Thai Kitchen ) place by me that you can topped with garlic real crap on top ! Taste unreal ! 😛👍🏻😉
Please share where I can find the noodle sheet you were using in this recipe. I have looked everywhere and have visited several Asian markets without any luck. I am trying your recipe this weekend with some Korean handmade noodles...Not the same, but in a pinch, will work, I guess.
Where do you buy the noodles from? i went to every grocery store around and no one knew what i was talking about!!
Ican't wait for the Chinese store to open back so I could get grocery to make recipe.
Where did you buy your wok???
Can I make it in a regular pan or do I need a Wok?.
This is a comfort dish for me. I prefer it over Pad Thai! I like eating it with pickled hot jalapenos and sambal! :)
This looks great minus the beef(I prefer chicken)🙂....question what do you do with the noodles left n the package can it be frozen?
It will be nice to sprinkle chopped peanuts on top too😃
Love your blouse! Where is it from?
Can you substitute rice vinegar with black vinegar?
Fun fact: The dduk wraps at Korean BBQ places was actually an LA invention so in South Korea, we don't actually have that!
Ur stir fry looks great, I made a noodle stir fry lstngt it was good but soupy 🤷🏾♀️, the only thing I can cook in my work is fried rice😏
How do you store the remaining noodle book?
YUM!!!!
"Kecap Manis" (the word "Kecap" is from the English word "Ketchup" - so we say it like KETCHUP MAHNISE ) is actually an Indonesian condiment. It translates to "Sweet Soy Sauce". It's owned but the Heinz Company, same company that owns American Ketchup. lol
Love love LOVE pad see ew. I think kecap manis is used in Indonesian cooking. I laughed when you jumped back as the meat hit the wok. That's so me even though I have a million aprons around - now I have a million stains on all my nice clothes. Hahaha! BTW, those sheets of noodles can be used to make cheater banh cuon. That's how my sister-in-law does it since we're too lazy to sit around and babysit each pan while making it. Just heat it up in the microwave to separate it.
Where is your wok from? :)
It's confusing that what you listed in the description was different in the video that you used. Rice vinegar??
What is the name of the noodles you used?
Put Dawn or Palmolive straight on the spots on your shirt (first rinse out as much as possible with cold running water in the sink) . Add the detergent and let sit for an hour at least , or over night. Wash and LINE dry. If some spots are still there, repeat with the detergent. Most if not all should disappear!
Hi!! Did you say you topped this with chili onion crunch? What exactly is that? And what brand to you buy? Love all your videos. XOXO Suzan

It is a delicious condiment from Trader Joe's (although I'm sure other stores/brands carry something similar). It has dried garlic and onion that make it crunchy and of course some chilis for a little spice!

Hello again! I live in a very small town. Where can I get fresh rice noodles? XOXO Suzan
cool food
KEcap Manis is actually Indonesian, well the name anyway Thai does have its own sweet thick soy sauce, they are pretty much interchangeable from what I understand. Especially now that Asian food is very much fusion these days. Do you watch marion's kitchen?
Is there anything we can sub for thick soy sauce? :)
Ok. I know I’m a weirdo, but I just love this sound... 9:28. Best part of the video if you ask me 😂
I always get my Pad See Ew with American broccoli and pork (I don’t eat beef). It’s one of my favorite dishes!!!
I like "Ban chan " too
kecap manis is also known as sweet soy sauce😊 so for everybody arround the world who doesn't know how / uncomfortable to pronounce kecap manis, the alt way is just say sweet soy sauce. hope it helps💁🏻♀️

Yes!! Thank you! I'll say sweet soy sauce on the daily, but if i want to impress a HOT Korean man, I'll use "Key Chap Mahn Iss". I'll make Pad See Ewww for him and win his heart.
Mam its my humble request....i like thai sagg(green mustard leaves) with beans... So how to cook it
That vegetable is brocollini -- it is a hybrid cross of asparagus and broccoli
Do you have video how to make music soup? Thank you.

“Pad see you” is how to say it I think
❤❤❤❤🖤❤❤❤❤
A propos acidity; I put some lime juice before serving 😊🍋

Actually, we don't add bokchoy and broccoli, only Chinese kale. But it's okay, if it is tasty btw.
I love Thai food... but I can with to much sodium ( soy sauce ) so thanks you mention the sweet soy sauce
If you would use a wooden spoon or a plastic one it will be less scratchy
Mayonnaise May Oh Days with an n (nays)
How to pronounce "Mayonnaise" May (like the month) Oh (like the letter) Naze (like maze, but with a "N") "May-Oh-Naze" Thank you for the video, planning to make this dish soon :-)
