For those who are surprised…Captain Keith used to work in a restaurant as a chef before he became a Captain

His demeanour is certainly very different than when he's on board his ship!

Gordon Ramsay tasted King Crab, and his first comment: "It´s better than lobster!" Very impressed by Captain Keith´s chef skills!

He has a culinary background in high end dining. Can you picture him as a top sous chef. A week in Alaska and hwvswitched from Sous chef to greenhorn on a crab boat.

@@carmenlottner297 I would pay good money to see that…. Gordon Ramsey had always been my favorite chef, he knows his shit, and tells it like it is… Capt Keith and Gordon Ramsey have alot in common if u think about it…

Man, I WISH I could buy king crab of this quality around here.... The ones in my town look like refugees escaping a famine lol.

I thaw out my King crab, then steam it for about 5 minutes. I dip it in melted butter a top off with fresh lemon juice. To die for.

I got a good laugh with the cup of noodles picture, it’s Capt Keith’s good luck ritual to eat a cup of noodles as he’s heading out to the crab fishing grounds…. I remember one of the earlier episodes where the crew literally tore the kitchen and boat apart looking for his cup of noodles, someone left them at the dock, Capt Keith was pist about that, I guarantee you that never happened again Lol…

I bet this costs a lot, to go and have cooking tips from the man himself 🦀 🦀

It's because of a ritual he has whenever he puts to sea. He always eats a cup of noodles. Kind of a good luck thing :).

Do you eat crab on the boat, or is it unlucky? I’ve seen crabs damaged on boat, but I still bet it’s a a very fresh and tasty crab. Saves on expensive food supplies for boat, just asking?

If you worked at say KFC, just how much KFC chicken can you eat before you get sick of it? They eat very little seafood on board.

No dead crab goes in the tanks or it will spoil part of that tank and they won't get anything for it.

Its a bitch to get fresh king or redcrab in flippin sucko chattanooga Tennessee. All the vids of deadliest catch make my mouth water for buttery king crab. Here it goes for 25bux a freakin pound.... yikes!!!

Waste of time... chilled crab legs are amazing, there's no reason to heat it up and add a bunch of other crap to it...
