Just relax and wait until you find decor items that you love. We move our items around every time we dust so every week things are a bit different, and there is no commitment stress because it is going to get moved in a week. I think you should have gotten the long pinkish pillow 😍

I thought I would flip our when I heard "going to take off my shoes", oh my gosh I laughed so hard and all I could think of was my husband. He would so say that rather than say, No, I don't care to go to the store. LOL That was so funny........what a busy busy day! Oaklynn is so sweet and precious. Talk about alert for being so young already! Oh My goodness she is alert as can be. I can tell you interact with her a lot, that is so awesome. She sure is the boys sister, they cannot deny that family resemblance. They three children look so so much alike. Beautiful children and parents as well. Loved your visit to look at plants. I have been really getting in the mood for plants and that is just not how I ever am, so somethings up.....LOL.....maybe it's age! Enjoy your family while they are visiting, time goes by way too fast! I miss Florida, our oldest two children were born in St Pete back in the day. Loved the beach and the weather was always so nice, hot but nice and sunny! Blessings!

I recently heard a sermon/message and he was addressing the subject of depression. He said that he has seen an increase of women struggling with depression and feeling they are failures because of their home decor, comparing themselves to what they view on Pinterest and KZread videos. When you commented on someone seeing your coffee table and would say you need something sculptured and group of threes (something like that) reminded me of his message. If Jesus came to our home, I don't think he would point out our inadequately decorated coffee table. It can be fun to decorate and nothing bad about that unless we get so caught up in it that we lose our sense of what is truly important.

Yes - that could affect people I suppose. I was referring to Emily Henderson - the stylist who’s course I took. Decorating is a hobby for me. I don’t have a lot of other hobbies. And I know it’s good to have hobbies. So I find it fun! I do know Jesus wouldn’t point that out ☺️ and it’s a good reminder. But I find decorating to be a creative outlet for me. It’s not for everyone though. For someone else, it might be getting their nails done. Or something else that I don’t do much. 😊 If it causes someone to feel depressed and what not, of course it would be important to stop etc. I agree. They’re just things. And Jesus is most important!

Your coffee table is very aesthetically pleasing. Mine is covered in Duplos! Lol!! Like you, I am on a hunt for another house plant. I was thinking something red, but now that spring is attempting to push winter away, perhaps something yellow-tinted. I'll know it when I see it. Spring cleaning has begun, here! It's still snowy and muddy, here. Perhaps one of your in between videos could be a tour of your plants/yard! Those of us in the frozen north could use some sunny greenery.

Lately I’ve been watching Planterina on KZread and she’s actually taught me a lot about taking care of and decorating with plants. She has all kinds of videos about when to water, when to re-pot, how much light plants need, and even what kind of pots you should plant certain plants in. I think that pothos you found is the kind called “marble queen” and as long as they get a decent amount of light, they will have a lot of variegation on their leaves.

Lynette, I love the way the coffee table came out you can always add to it when you find that unique piece....love your home and always enjoy seeing you make goodies in the kitchen....I am sure your friends where very grateful for the food you make with love and took over everything looked delicious.
