Clarification on ‘the blind people’.. 😂 I meant the 3 day blinds salesperson was coming to the condo to do a measurement, quote etc. That’s what I was referring to. Window covering s 😁 my apologies for not being more clear

lol. Actually, it was fine just the way you said it because if you had been more clear, there would have been no occasion for what turned out to be something comical. We can all use a laugh these days.

Powdery mildew. Wash the leaves with water and a few drops of gentle dish soap. Easy on the water and natural light.

Agree. Powdery mildew. Also try not to water your succulents too much (thick leaf plants). They are similar to cactus that will rot if over-watered.

When our daughter was about three, we found a cute little three-piece kitchen set for her and she loved it through first grade! I’ll bet Oaklynn would love those, too. Also, if she doesn’t have any four-piece puzzles, maybe she would have fun with a puzzle or two.

These are my fave videos of yours…just home life, hanging with your family, shopping…a day in the life. I would be careful moving plants a lot. They like their homes and don’t like to have to repeatedly adjust to atmosphere around them. Try baking soda on water on the powdery leaves. If they are really bad, prune those leaves and clean the others. Be careful. That fungus spreads. Oaklynn is ADORABLE! My husband loves her name and thinks she is the cutest thing!

When my daughter was Oaklyn's age she would always color on the wall. One night her dad and I went out for a date night, my grandmother was watching the kids. We walked in the door to my daughter's masterpiece all over the wall. My grandmother hadn't even noticed. After that we put all writing utensils in a bin on top of the fridge then would supervise her when she wanted to color. She's now 22 and a fine arts major in college. My profile pic is one of her art pieces. Maybe Oaklyn is a budding artist.

I absolutely live this type video. The current events in Afghanistan, Whitehouse, our country and in our city has been just too much. Too much death, violence, anger. In our City a person has been shot and killed almost daily. Its been getting to me. Lots of prayers. Oaklynn might like an art easel. The double sided kind she can draw on one side and paint on the other. Maybe her own gardening spot. Love, hugs and peace for all

You have such a beautiful family! I'm so grateful I stumbled upon your channel. (Thanks for the recipe too!) I never ever saw Thousand island dressing in a taco salad! But, now, I'm anxious to try this! I live in PA and fortunately, grew up around Mennonite and Amish communities and still live among these super fun and kind people. 90% of our shopping is done with Amish and Mennonite farms, markets, butcher shops, small businesses, farm stands, etc and I wouldn't want it any other way. Some of my most very favorite people run these farms and markets. I think it is very important that we have KZread channels like yours for many reasons but, a very important reason is so that people see how super awesome you and your communities are! Thanks for sharing your world!

That taco salad looks similar to how we like it - looks yummy! 😋 The green pans are gorgeous! And Oaklynn is precious with her purse ready to go shopping 🥰 My 23 month old has a chalk board that he likes. I like when he uses it because chalk is so much easier to clean than pen or marker 🙃 We went to a neighbor’s house and he played with a bucket of dry corn (it was feed corn, could also use rice, dry beans, or popcorn) and was independently entertained for over an hour. I was floored! He is such a busy kid but loved using empty spice containers, spoons, etc to play in it. My neighbor called it “clean mess” because the corn goes everywhere but it is easy to gather back up.

Try getting her a Magna doodle from Walmart since she loves to write. She can write or draw. She would probably also like a kitchen set with little pots, pans, dishes. Just a suggestion. You black/white dress looks beautiful on you! Thanks for sharing! Praying for our country and all the men and women that serve our country. God Bless them!

Thanks for your encouraging message at the end of the video. I also feel like burying my head in the sand very often these days. It is so important to remember that the Lord commands us to be strong and courageous in Him and that He will be with us always. We are raising the next generation to fear and love the Lord, and our kids are always watching us even from a young age… that is sometimes a scary thought!

The way you decorate is so refreshing, kinda rustic but clean. I love it. You make me wanna switch up my decor and incorporate the African pieces I already have. Oaklynn makes me want another daughter😊

No shushi for me thank you!! 😝 Lol Love taco salad though. Oaklyn is such a cutie and I know you hear that all the time. Someone on here suggested the childs kitchen from Ikea. 👍 Spent many hours at the t-ball and baseball field when my boys were little. Enjoy it because they grow so fast. Blessings to you and your family.

Oaklynn is so sweet! It's hard to channel a busy toddler's energies the right direction. Yes, a play kitchen is a great idea.

A magnetic chalk board and easel for Oaklynn . You could make one from spare hard board . Magnetic paint and chalk board paint is easily available . Then add colored chalks , washable paint , pens , crayons , a roll of old wall paper or lining paper tp draw on and some magnetic alphabet letters and you're good to go ! You could also get some child safe scissors , some non toxic water based glue and some old magazines and help Oaklynn make a fabulous collage . I'm sure she would love doing that .

Thank you for your talk at the end. I am feeling the exact same way. I know that god has this. It is hard to see and hear every day. I only look at or read snippets. My soul is vexed. Praying daily. Thank you for your heartwarming videos.

I was surprised to see your "Food from the Heart" cookbook on your counter. I happen to know the ladies who made the cookbook. I have one too! My son grew up with the husband of Anne! I just started watching your videos and have enjoyed them.
