**CONVERTING MY BMX TO TUBLESS! ** - Is It Worth It?

Ойын-сауық

This is how to go tubeless with alienation tcs rims and tcs tires. If you are tubeless let me know your setup. I will show you how to go tubeless with any setup in a coming video, but in the meantime this is the best way since the rim and tire are made for this.

    Hi Mike, how about the weight difference of that rim set with rubber, tubolito, & tubeless?

    Tubeless is the way to go. It's cool that's now an option for the BMX guys. I couldn't imagine riding my mountain bike with tubes. Saves a little weight too.

    I have a 20x 1 3/8 iNNERTUBE in a 20 inch 451 tire & bmx rim set up and I wish to inject Stan’s no tubes sealant into. How much should I put in each tube ?

    Sweet tutorial. What ld like to know is if the Tannus Armour in combination with the Tubolito's and maybe carbon rims is a viable investment. Maybe not the carbon rims yet.

    I tried the tannus armour on my mtb and it’s HEAVY. If you’re just going to downhill bike parks it’s fine, but the rolling weight is excessive imo. It does allow you to run lower pressure but jumping around is definitely harder with the weight.

    @@mambocowboy yeah, I wonder why no one uses automotive Schrader valves. If it's good enough for a Lamborghini going 200mph, or a race car with slicks pumped up high, to I'm sure it can hold up to BMX or MTB.

    Personally I wouldn't EVER run tubeless tires on a BMX bike. If you don't like running 80-100+psi and you sometimes land hard(90°) or ride mostly street I can't recommend these honestly.

  • @dontbelieveeverythingyouth8173

    Yet they have been used for street MTB for years.

  • @sepherus

    @sepherus

    @@dontbelieveeverythingyouth8173 street MTB riders typically run around 60 PSI if they focus on street and jumps. Your typical MTB riders usually run disgustingly low, around 30 PSI. That being said, I think tubeless can be totally viable be with BMX of all disciplines. Think of the torque cars, trucks, and motorcycles put out, and they don't even use sealant in their systems. Granted they are specialized, but the the concept and function is in the same ballpark.
