Glad someone did this justice and created a Marine killing the Ork. I can never see Bayard in the original scult coming off unscathed. The Ork would definitely not be dead and Bayard would, at the very least, lose his leg. Just goes to show that there is no better Legion than the glorious First!

It's an awesome conversion, one of the best I have seen of that model to be honest !

This is really well done. The first time I'd seen a bit of plastic packaging used for a dynamic blood trail like that.

ya know...this would be a FANTASTIC Corswain proxy! even the just the Marine himself on a base in that pose is 10x better than what they gave us for one of the top 3 swordsmen of the astartes!

Im actually in the middle of a similar conversion. Not so indepth though. I like the flesh head, but im unsure if dark angels would wear that crown or not? What do you think?

Personally I wouldn't be drawn to it, if I was doing blood angels ultramarines etc then yes but dark angels I would do a head swap even a hooded one would look cool I think, there's also other heads like off the raven wing command squad that have got that champion look might be something to consider
Maaaan I might just copy this but still keep him black Templars - just unreal conversion man! I literally just got gifted the model tonight and now after watching your vid can’t unsee him any other way! Hardest part might be keeping the original sword and mating it with another right arm like yours. Any quick tips for that?

The issue you will find with this sword is the hands... now if you are good with a hobby knife your could trim off the hand from the hilt. Then cut and drill the handle and pin it and find a pointing melee weapon hand and trim down and pin according.... now this also includes first born arms because even this model has a primaris arm 1st born arm lol its not much of a change but the blade being gripped in this way isn't the easiest to do but definitely doable but that's depends on the bits box you have. Hope that helps glad the video inspired you to make your own templar version 😊
I need to know, did you attach the blood trail before or after painting the whole miniature?

I primed the model first then stuck on the blood spatter and head on after. At the time I wasnt 100% about the translucency of the blood for the blood god paint, so gave it some coats in super glue to allow the blood paint chance to stick to it but at the same time trying to let it be translucent.

Oh my god i love this idea! need to steal this in the future :D The only thing i would change is the colour of the Dark Angel to black. not because it would fit nicely to the horus heresy parts but it would give some contrast to the ork :D i love it!

Constructive criticism can often be mistaken as such. I apologize for any feel-bad. In all honesty, I'm no youtuber and can not actually give you proper advice on how to run a thing you know better than me. However, I did want to mention the only thing that prevented me from enjoying the video fully and wanted to express it. No ill intent, just crudeness on my behalf. And just because I didn't say it before, that's a gorgeous kitbash you made.

My reply wasn't great either tbh my head isn't in thes best of places but still ain't a great excuse. Regardless your feedback is appreciated thank you
