ok, so... I don't know if you know this, but many pride parades start off with the "Dykes on Bikes" chapters, so this lady makes me very happy XD

The only heresy I see in this video is that someone primed directly on the sprue! Inconceivable! Joking aside, don't ever stop being you Brent. And for those wondering , yes: I don't know what "inconceivable" means!

"No matter who you are, you are welcome here" line said while removing the head of the model made me laugh more than it should have. Cool mini and love anybody no matter thier identity and happy to throw dice with them and have a few brewskies while playing toy soldiers!

That pinwheel was a good choice to finish off the mini

Fallen angels, the lion (Lucifer or satan) Ezekiel (book in scripture) azrael (fallen angel) belial (fallen angel) and so on. Everything in 40k is based on the same things all media are based on, it's all scriptural or gnosticism or kabbalah.... people are just ignorant to it.

Black lining looks so good because you are adding the occlusion shadows that cast object are often missing. Even a sharp metal mold has some rounding which reduces how deep the shadow is between objects. In real like there's always a dark line between objects. Squeeze your fingers as tightly together as possible - there is still a dark line between each. Of course, you can dark line instead of black line if you find black lining is too stark, or use a slightly thinned paint as a "pin wash" If you get a modern Infinity miniature they sculpt extra-deep lines where you would normally black line to make it easier.

I don't think the pen tips are really made for this kind of use, but they're great for little details! :-) I've started using them relatively recently, I'll keep on showing when they're useful.

I've heard of people using metallic Sharples because they look nice and the ink is nice and thin but covers well.

room lights off, large sheet of black velvet ~ 3 feet (1 meter) behind the mini, tons of light right on the mini (3 desk lamps, side, side, and front.) Camera light balance slider thingy set very dark (low number iso). I'm still working on it, but It's fun when it turns out well! 🙂
