Conversion Corner: Magnetizing the Stegadon (Including Skink Chief and Engine of the Gods)

Ойындар

On this episode of Conversion Corner, Adam magnetizes the Seraphon Stegadon kit for games of Age of Sigmar. By using magnets with a single model kit, you can switch between the regular Stegadon, Skink Priest on Stegadon, and the Engine of the Gods from game to game. This is a great kit from Games Workshop, and is one of the best for sub assembly and magnetizing, check it out!

Thank you! This is exactly what I've been looking for. I've got 3 Celestial Stampedes and I already have everything in subassemblies and primed. Let my repay you with a token of my gratitude: *how to make skinks blow pipes* (7:30). First, is kinda difficult because the kit has no numbers on it, but if you look at the instructions from the Celestial Stampede, you will see the optional arms for the skinks: at the middle there are the two hands holding a javelin, and at both sides, you can see other 7 options: both have a pole with ornamets, two have macuahuitl (the short clubs based on the actual aztec weapon), and there are a selection of javelins for both hands. Now, there are three arms with "miscellaneous" items:one on the left, two on the right: THIS OPTIONS ARE FOR THE PIPES AND SKINKS BLOWING THROUGH THEM; EACH ONE HAS A NOZZLE/HOLDER THE EXACT SAME SIZE AS THE BLOWPIPE/THROWER (the right side even has an arm for the darts that were used in FB). CAREFULLY (compare the nozzles from both the weapon and the hand and look how they will fit, because the weapon has two nozzles), CUT OFF THE NOZZLE/HOLDER FROM THE BLOWPIPE/THROWER (say, the exact opposite of the serpent head) AND GLUE THERE THERE ARM HOLDING THE NEW ONE. Then procede to glue the skink as normal. *Step 6e on the booklet shows this configuration: the second regular skink from top to bottom has both the right nozzle and a dard on the left arm, BUT IT DOES NOT SHOW HOW IT FITS*.

This is a great video since the coming of my 2021 Quarantine Army. I have 7 Stegs for the memetastic Stegageddon list, and being able to swap my stampede into Heroes or Battleline is incredibly helpful. Thanks for the information!

I have 5 Stegadons un-assembled I think I’ll go ahead and make two of them the skink chieftain and the EOTG, but magnetize the other three for the bow, and the sun fire thrower. Awesome video! I’ll probably magnetize the Skink Chief so I can run either option for it too. But the EOTG, I’ll just leave as is.
