Late to the party but i havent seen anyone mention anvil industry, they are one of the best companies going right now in my opinion.

Thanks for the video! I have heard of most of these, except for Liber Daemonica and perhaps one other, but they all have some amazing sculpts. I haven’t yet ordered from any of these, however I did get some breacher shields for, well, some Breacher Marines for 30K, and I got them from Zinge Industries. I was super happy with the sculpts, the quality of the actual bits, the price, and the delivery speed (this was just pre-Covid, FYI). My only regret is that I only bought 5- at £5 for 5, and £5 shipping, I really should have ordered 10-20 of them. But they are VERY similar to the Forge World shields, and they look great. I have some extra MKIII-armoured Marines from the Burning of Prospero box, so I figured I’d use them for breachers- they were always one of my favorite sculpts from FW, but I didn’t have the $ then to just drop $65 for 5 Marines. These 3rd-party bits were perfect, and really helped me get my 30K Raven Guard Legion started before I was able to make more expensive purchases. Thanks again for the video- and if you haven’t, check out Zinge Industries- I was really impressed with them.

I’ve done 3 orders from Popgoesthemonkey... everything has been amazing ... also very happy with Kromlech. Have used Fallout Hobbies ... products are great but shipping and service were slow ... great video thanks!!!!

Ordered Liber Daemonica shoulder pads and shields, took about 2 weeks. I went through their Ebay posts for them though. Might make a difference. But they are AWESOME sculpts.

madrobotminis has a slightly smaller scale I believe, but a great selection of weapons and Imperial Guard options. Never ordered from them, but they are definitely on my radar.

Victoria miniatures has lots of smaller scale Guard stuff as well

Spellcrow has single handedly taken standard mark 3 marines to VERY Salamander like Sternguard Veterans!

Haven’t gotten any of his stuff but popgoesthemonkey makes amazing scultps

I like Kromlech, ordered a ton from puppets war, but because of local restrictions they can't ship it very fast.

@@crawbag0311 just ordered the once from puppets recently. I'm in the UK and it only took a bit over 2 weeks in total. The helmets I ordered were really good quality with seconds worth of cleaning.

Kromlech has been nothing short of awesome. They make super high quality stuff with little to no cleanup plus they are coming out with new stuff pretty regularly. Liber daemonica are also amazing since they offer those bits that fall into heavy chapter flavor.

I can’t say enough good about les grognards from wargames Atlantic the sculpts are nearly as good as GW (they are as good as older GW) at about 1/2 the price $200 will get you about 100 guard infantry and characters including command and heavy weapons teams. I used the heavy weapon & command kit with necromunda gangers for my PDF, and they look great. The only thing they are missing is missile launchers and there are tons of extra bits for the bits box.

Cool video but I wish more people who do these recommendation videos would link their recommendations more often.

I've always been very happy with the Kromlech Ork stuff I bought. Also, check out David Brumby on ebay UK, I got one of his Ork Trukks recently and its very kool.

Gear guts mek shop has great ork models and bits.

Since you do astra militarum and I'm still new to the hobby and if you happen to or have done kitbashing/ conversion to make cadians into karskin but I'm hesitant cause I like word of mouth on was it successful but none the less I'm stuck wanting to do Karskins but no one puts videos up on what works for them would love the help

Hey Trey. I have never made them myself, but there are some cool conversions done. Search Google images and you will find some great sources for inspiration. I also won't be surprised if they get a new kit when the new book comes out.

Liber Daemonica are good. Their delivery is a little bit hit and miss. I've had a couple of orders delivered within the month (which I consider fair), other times it has taken a couple of months to arrive. Anvil Industries deserve an honourable mention too. Love those guys.

@@AnvilofWarGaming I'm in the UK. I think Liber Daemonica/ScaleBro are located in Russia. I use a few companies in Russia and the delivery times vary wildly. Especially since the COVID business started. I don't know if it's a regional thing within Russia or not, but I've never had a regular delivery from anywhere based over there.
