Same. The only reason I have the will to live is because of my cats. I love them with all my heart. They are literally my kids. My male cat Ceecee had gone missing bevause I let him outside to play in the backyard. It was late at night when he came back. During the time he was gone I was screaming and crying, I scratched at my arm and made myself bleed. I wanted to end my life. I found out that it is typical for males to do that when a kitten or another animal is brought into the house hold. When he came back I ran to him and I was so happy to hold him in my arms again. People think I am cat crazy but I don't care. I love my son, and I love my daughter. Ceecee my son and Tess my daughter are my life.

Nora K.I.L My dog completely ignores me (Kinda) if im having a rough day, surprising thing is I have a deep bond with him, I'm a cat person too, I have a bigger bond with my cat I don't hate dogs but my cat actually comforts me on rough days, I wish he would do the same but really all he does is get closer to me and look at me in a cute way, I accept that because I probably wouldn't do much either if I were him.

Same. I usually say it though when I am grooming them and they are meowing and fighting me. My voice calms them down. Its really good to communicate with your cat because they need that bond. You are a good owner.

I had a very talkative breed cat. She'd "myah, myahhh, rrrrrulululul, huff, huff sniff," but I'm paraphrasing. I'd say, "Really? And then what happened?" And she would answer. 18 years old at least, and she was a youngish stray when I found her. Other cats would chat with me by gesture and thumps (deaf cats), whispered meows and meaningful glances.

Kynadee Harris you will still be allergic to cats even if they don't have fur, its their spit and dander not the fur that you are allergic to, the spit just goes on the fur and the fur goes everywhere so it makes your allergy's symptoms worse, a cat without fur you might not notice until you were closer to them. Hypoallergenic cats are cats without the thing in their spit that makes you allergic to them so whether they have fur or not doesn't matter

Cassar I always hate it when people say something is better and go out of their way to prove it. It's all a matter of opinions and experience. Everything has it's upsides and downsides, dogs aren't the perfect pet neither are cats. Some like cats, some like dogs, some like both.

i talk to my cat about anything and everything she's a tortoiseshell so she's *really* talkative, which means more conversations between us she meows and i say yes/no then she'll meow again and we'll talk for around ten minutes then we'll both get tired i'll lay down with her or i'll walk away and she walks to another room right now shes watching my rats silently with an exception of a few chirps

Ah, is talkativeness a torti trait? I've got a torti too, & she's always muttering & mumbling stuff to me - she's so expressive! She really conveys her feelings with her vocalisations. She's not a meower though, she's got her own little vocabulary.

In my case conversation ranged from "Mommy is putting on her socks" to "Who is the prettiest cat in the galaxy?" and the exasperated "Are you going to make up your mind, it's so cold.." while an otherwise assertive lady was willing to wait and shiver on the threshold of a balcony. 🐾😍

I had a cat, and I asked it everything and it purred. And I loved it. And then I woke up.

Normally you shouldn't put the litter box that close to the food - they should actually be as far away from each other as possible. But if your kitty is happy like this - then that's obviously no problem at all :)

Good to talk to the animals. It surely relieves stress.

It is the most normal thing in the world to have conversations with your life partner, especially when she/he is a furry one. And they are the most pleasant and "enlightening" ones, too💝🐱🐈😺💝

Totally true! I love to speak with my kitties, sometimes it seems they understand me.

If you get a litter mat it helps keep the litter from getting everywhere. You stick it a little bit under the box and when the cat steps out it gets caught in the mat.

I got to spend 4 hours with a bunch of cats because i volunteered at my local animal shelter with my mom, and part of it is giving them love and attention, its actually really important for them
